David Cameron is facing pressure to veto the latest ‘ludicrous’ cash demand from Brussels after it  announced plans to slap three new taxes on Britain.
The European Commission yesterday revealed budget demands which would cost UK taxpayers £10billion.

British taxpayers would have to pay £10billion more over the seven-year period – an increase of £1.4billion a year on the current British annual payment of £13.3billion.

Let me speak as a convinced Scottish Nationalist and tell you that, if we don't and I mean the UK or Scotland, get away from this pile of putrid shite, that is the EU, we are doomed to go down the plughole of  Globalist History.  I'll be worm food and don't really give a fuck, but my country's future, (Scotland or the UK), beats in my breast.  (Not as nice as Kelly's breasts, BTW!)

Scotland in stronger budget position than the UK as a whole, new figures find

Figures show that Scotland generates 9.4% of UK tax but only has 8.4% of the UK population.

Scotland is in a stronger budget position than the UK as a whole for the fifth consecutive year, according to new figures.

Government and Expenditure Revenue Scotland 2009-10 figures show that, including a geographical share of UK North Sea oil and gas revenues, Scotland contributed 9.4% of UK public sector revenue and received 9.3% of total UK public sector expenditure, including a per capita share of UK debt interest payments.

Including a geographical share of North Sea revenues, Scotland's estimated current budget balance in 2009-10 was a deficit of £9bn, or 6.8% of GDP - stronger than the UK-wide deficit of £107.3bn, or 7.6% of GDP for the same year, including 100% of North Sea revenues.

In terms of the net fiscal balance - which includes infrastructure investment for long-term benefit - Scotland was again in a stronger position than the UK:, with a deficit of 10.6% of GDP, compared to 11.1% for the UK as a whole.

Commenting on the figures, Finance Secretary John Swinney said: "Scotland has now been in a stronger financial position that the UK as a whole for each of the last five years. Once again, the official GERS figures show that Scotland contributes more to the UK exchequer than we receive in public spending.

"Despite the fall in North Sea revenues to £6.5bn in 2009-10 - less than half the level for this year - Scotland still contributed far more to the UK exchequer than our share of population, which underlines the breadth and strength of Scotland's finances, and the opportunities of financial responsibility and independence.

"Scotland generated 9.4% of UK tax with 8.4% of the population - the equivalent of £1,000 extra for every man, woman and child in Scotland.

"The figures also show that in 2009-10, at the height of the UK recession, half of the £2.8bn increase in public spending in Scotland was for social protection measures such as unemployment benefits, while increased spending by the Scottish Government on the health service also accounted for a significant share of the rise.

"We know that Scotland's oil and gas resources represent a trillion pound asset base - worth more than ten times Scotland's share of a UK debt built up by successive Westminster governments. And we also know that North Sea revenues are on a sharply rising curve - in 2010-11 they were £8.8bn, and this year the North Sea is forecast to generate an all-time record £13.4bn in tax revenue. Indeed, over the next five years North Sea oil and gas is forecast to raise £61bn in tax revenue, 35% more than during the previous five years.

"Unlike successive UK governments, the Scottish Government has run a balanced budget every year since 2007, and we now urgently need new levers to promote economic recovery in Scotland, such as access to enhanced borrowing powers, corporation tax, excise duties and the Crown Estate."

Scotland has again been placed at the top of the world league for cocaine consumption.

Figures published by the United Nations show that 3.9% of Scottish residents aged between 16 and 64 used the drug in the past year.

So what do you make of this new Police database?   It is going to contain the details of 15,000,000 British Citizens.  We're told that only 9,000,000 people in the UK have criminal records.

I'm sorry but I find those figures ridiculous.  How the fuck can there be 9 million people in the UK with criminal records.  Does that include speeding in a car?  What do they deem to be a criminal record?  They are trying to tell us that roughly 1 in 6 are criminals.  I can't believe that figure.  Maybe they're all Romanian Gypsies or something.  I don't know how many criminals you know, but I am failing to think of any!

If they're are 9 million criminals in the UK, then prison must be a deterrent, because there are only around 95,000 in jail in the UK and I make that about 1%.  So then in other words there must be 99 criminals on the streets for everyone that's in the clink.  I don't think so.  So what have the other 6 million done that are going to be on the database?  Farted in a pubic place and been caught on smelly vision CCTV?  Scratched their balls in public?  Worn tight leggings in public, (known as mumbling pants in Scotland because you can see their lips move)?  Does the database even operate in Scotland as our legal system id different from England?

No, in my opinion, it is just another way to extend state control over the citizens of this country, in much the same way as the 'terrorism' threat has been used to restrict the freedoms of individuals.  We are my friends moving towards a police state which will one day make some of the Arab states look mild.

David Cameron has laid bare his frustration with forces chiefs questioning the sustainability of Britain's military commitments, telling them: "You do the fighting and I'll do the talking." The Prime Minister was forced to insist that the mission in Libya can be maintained for as long as necessary after the concerns of the RAF's second-in-command were leaked. 

But is Cameron right?  I don't believe so.  It is surely he duty of commanders to question the viability of operations particularly if their men are stretched by lack of numbers or vital supplies?  I hope we have got over the days of the 1st World War when troops were seen as cannon fodder whose lives didn't matter a damn. 

Ultimately, although it's never happened in this country, the Armed Forces loyalty should be to the people, not the politicians or for that matter, the Royal family.  It always surprises me, although it shouldn't, the way armed personnel have this huge commitment to the Royal family.  I remember being in the Scouts when I was but a slip of a lad and the same thing was rammed into us then, so perhaps it's not surprising.  I come from a family where my father used to stand up for 'God Save the Queen', when it used to come on at the end of programming on TV for the night! 

It is sad though that the Armed Forces don't seem to be able to think for themselves.  Perhaps this is the start of them doing it.  I hope so, because failed politicians like Brown and Blair are lauded with riches, instead of being put where they should be, in jail.  If politicians were held accountable for their decisions and particularly, sending troops into conflicts where we have no right to be, then perhaps they would be of a higher calibre.

Just what the fuck are we doing in Libya?

As the West’s war against Libya has entered its fourth month and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization has flown more than 11,000 missions, including 4,300 strike sorties, over the small nation, the world’s only military bloc is already integrating lessons learned from the conflict into its international model of military intervention based on earlier wars in the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq.  What targets are we bombing for fuck's sake?  We are told that our air strikes are so accurate we can take out the top two floors of a building and leave the rest intact.  So why isn't Gaddafi's regime on it's knees by now?  

It's not that accurate though, NATO has just killed 9 civilians, confirmed by them.  The Gaddafi regime has seized on the casualties, including a mother and father and at least two young children, to score propaganda points against NATO and to bolster Libya's embattled dictator. 

So what about the cost?  The ginger turd above, a poor excuse for a Scotsman, IMO, has just said on TV that, "the campaign is costing tens of millions, potentially into the hundreds of millions as it goes on, but that money is coming from the reserve that we have set aside, precisely for contingencies such as this."

That's alright then!  Is it any wonder that the British people are beginning to question the whole operation as it drags into it's fourth month.  We all know it's got fuck all to do with protecting civilians from Gaddafi.  Most of the so called 'civilians' have been rebel troops.  It's all part of a grand scheme to take over Libya and install a puppet government, enabling NATO to move against Syria, where the majority of the population are loyal to Assad.  Ultimately of course, the plan is to invade Iran.  This is the plan being pushed by the Zionist hawks in the Obama administration.  Perhaps World War 3 is not that far away if both China and Russia decide to thwart the NATO expansionist plans!

WOMEN IN SAUDI ARABIA ARE BANNED FROM DRIVING!

Saudi women campaigning for an end to laws banning them from driving, have designated Friday as their own day of direct action.

An online campaign, Women2Drive, urges those with international driving licences – so that they cannot be arrested purely on the grounds of being unqualified – to test the law.

They are being asked to do so individually, in contrast to the last incident of mass disobedience over the issue, in 1990, when 47 women who drove in convoy around the capital, Riyadh, in a show of strength.

They were quickly arrested, and many were ostracised and fired from their jobs.

Now when I read this, I thought, "there are two ways to play this, outrage at women not being allowed to drive and therefore should we be bombing the Saudis or should we be congratulating them for keeping the streets safe". On doing a little research, I found that women in Libya are allowed to drive, indeed under Gaddafi, they have freedoms and rights that they don’t have in many other Arab countries. They also have one of the best healthcare systems anywhere in the world. What of course the West doesn't understand is that most Arab countries are tribal states, unlike our 'great democracies' and therefore a lot of the unrest is caused by, 'when two tribes go to war', a song I remember from the 80s, when of course it's not caused by some Twatter in Aberdeen pretending to be a one-legged, Arab lesbian with plooks.

It's OK though, because Dave has said that Gaddafi won't be able to attend the Olympics in London next year. Does that mean then, that he's still going to be in power? And if so, what the fuck are we doing in Libya?

As I'm sure most of you know, I'm not a natural left winger and would never class myself as such, but there are things going on in the world that we are not party to and are out with our 'democratic control'.  The Bankers discovered centuries ago, and you know of whom I speak, that Rulers were a bad risk.  When they died, mostly their successors would have nothing to do with their debts.  They did discover however that it was better to lend to 'democratic' Governments because the elected politicians had a responsibility to pay off a country's debts.  This is what is happening in Greece at the moment.  The Bankers insist that Greece should sell off all it's assets to pay them back for, what was in the first instance, their fuck up.  It's no wonder that the people of Greece are rebelling as they see their pensions, wages and workers' rights, go down the Swanee.

Oh It's OK saying their rights were too good and they should pay etc, etc, etc.  But remember that, when the bankers come for your pension or your NHS or, god forbid, foreclose on your home.  They are already talking about summoning Osborne to the EU Parliament to explain his economic policies.  Will the British people have the strength of the Icelandic people to stand up to the ECB, or will we fold as usual as our elected representatives get paid off with influential jobs in the coming Global Government?

MUSLIMS MUST ADHERE TO THE LAWS OF THE U.K.

 

Victims say that officers in the borough of Tower Hamlets have ignored or downplayed outbreaks of hate crime, and suppressed evidence implicating Muslims in them, because they fear being accused of racism.

The claims come as four Tower Hamlets Muslims were jailed for at least 19 years for attacking a local white teacher who gave religious studies lessons to Muslim girls.

The Sunday Telegraph has uncovered more than a dozen other cases in Tower Hamlets where both Muslims and non-Muslims have been threatened or beaten for behaviour deemed to breach fundamentalist “Islamic norms.”

Now whether the sky fairies should be spouting about politics is a debatable point.  How would the Christians of this country feel if an Iman criticised Government economic policy?  Or even for that matter the Chief Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and that's not a Mr G Brown, BTW!  I would have thought that the beardy one would have had enough trouble with his church breaking apart and the Irish one with, well plenty of things like the genocide in 3rd world countries caused by his gaffers refusing to sanction condoms, to wean shagging priests!  Beardy, has the cheek to question the legitimacy of a coalition Government, yet as an unelected member of the House of Lords, has refused to sanction any democratic change of that most undemocratic of organisations.

It all seems to me a bit like Salmon Rushdie, who after getting himself into trouble for writing the 'SATANIC VERSES', was asked what his next book would be and told the waiting press, "the Bhudda is a Big Fat Bastard".

IS NOW THE TIME FOR INDEPENDENCE?

Should the new SNP Government now go for full independence?

You won't be surprised to hear me say yes.  Like it or not, Scots have always considered that Scotland is a separate nation from England.  In many ways like the opinion, that many Englishmen have, that England is a separate country from Scotland and shouldn't be a part of the EU.  I think the Scots are endured by many English.  They are fed shite about how Scotland is a drain on the English purse, when anyone with a modicum of intelligence can look at the GERS reports online and see that Scotland has been in surplus for many years.  Indeed, oil, a Scottish asset has floated the British Economy since the early 70s, a fact that is rarely mentioned.  Then we hear the crap about how the English bailed out the Scottish Banks, RBS and HBOS.  Well, these have been British companies, albeit with their HQs in Scotland, since 1707 and in any case the last time I looked, Halifax was not in Scotland.

Is there an economic case for independence?  Again I would say yes.  There is still some oil left in Scottish waters, so please, don't lets squander what's left.  We have 40% of all renewable potential in Europe with wave power going to be an important feature.  We should have control of these assets in Scotland, to be used for the good of the Scottish people, like they do in Norway.  Control of the seabed round Scotland should be our first priority.  At the moment that right belongs to the British Monarchy.  Osborne gave the Queen massive dividends from that source in his budget, (which was sneaked in so no-one noticed it), and I'm sure they don't need anymore money than they currently  have.

Politically, as the people of Scotland realise that an SNP Government is there to govern for Scotland and doesn't have one eye on their masters in London, they will realise the benefits of an independent nation.  The people of Scotland have the right to self determination in just the same way as the new Arab states do, so in my opinion now is the time to forge ahead to  independence.

What right does the West have to go in to a country, one in particular that has been trading successfully with them for many years and try and kill the leader?  How would we feel, if the Scots wanted independence and London wouldn't allow it and civil war broke out and the Arabs came out on one side or another and tried to kill General Salmond or Corporal Cameron?   What are they doing about all the friendly countries whose people are actually treated worse than in Libya?  

More to the point, why do the people of the west lap up all the shite their Governments throw at them?  These fuckers get into power thanks to us and are quickly obsessed with their own importance.  Mind you, I think I might be the same and most other people who were being honest would agree.  Has the time then come, as it has in all civilisations to change the way we are governed?  Does big business and at this point I'm thinking particularly of the power companies, have too much power?  Do they actually know that they're going to kill people by their profiteering?  People on a basic pension in Scotland can't afford to heat themselves.  Fuck, I've had the heating on here in the south of Scotland and we're almost at mid-summer's day!  The temperature has hovered between 12-14 degrees here today.

OBSERVATIONS ON FRANCE AND SPAIN-BRITAIN IS A SHITEHOLE!

Hola Amigos!  I am back to annoy you, fresh from my travels in France and mostly, Spain.  I apologise for my lack of communication but I had a system failure on my laptop which stopped me from being able to blog.  However, I am now armed with a new laptop and fresh vigour.

You know, in this country we are fucking idiots.  We knock our pans in at work.  Our pace of living is killing us.  Do we enjoy life?  I don't think so.  Look for instance at the Dayglows.  Their Supermarkets don't sell everything like ours do and therefore small businesses are allowed to flourish.  Their town centres are not like ghost towns, like many of ours are.  The Supermarkets and normal shops don't open on a Sunday.  Sunday is a family day when they got to church, (many of them) and then they go out for a meal as a family and have a relaxing day off.  It's accepted that the shops shut in the afternoon for a siesta.  They all do it, so people don't expect to shop in those 3 hours.  Instead they have lunch and a kip.

We were in France last Thursday and ALL the shops and most of the restaurants and cafes were shut.  I asked the guy in the hotel what the score was and he told me it was some sort of local holiday.  The streets were deserted because people were in their homes being families and with their friends.  Does that happen here on a so called holiday?  The only restaurants that were open were the British/American ones like Mcdonalds, Burgerking and Kentucky Fried Rabbit.  Does that really surprise you?

Our way of life is shite and I don't know what we could do to change it.  Instead of cutting down the power of the Trade Unions, why don't we cut down the power of the big companies.  Let's tell them that they are not going to open 24/7.  Tell them to shut at 8 at night and they can't open on a Sunday.  Don't give me the tale about convenience and choice, because that is what is ruining what little culture we have left in this country.

It's pathetic to come back to Scotland and to see that 50% of the young girls in the street are, quite plainly, fucking obese.  In a Spanish supermarket, there is only about 3 feet of ready made meals.  The women in Spain still know how to take some ingredients and make a meal for their family.  Not that I'm saying there are no fat young women in Spain, there are, but not nearly the same percentage as here.

Can anyone tell me why, in an oil producing nation, our diesel is £1.40 per litre and in Spain it's £1.05?  Why is diesel dearer than petrol here, when it's cheaper to produce and diesel cars are more efficient.  In France and Spain, diesel is much cheaper than petrol, so why not here?

No my friends, this country, (UK),  is a shitehole in so many ways and unless we make a stand now, it's just going to get worse.

Oh, BTW, I've purchased a house in Spain.  Available for hire once I get it ready!
