BANKERS ARE BASTARDS WHO SHOULD BE GOVERNED PROPERLY!

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has announced that it is to cut 215 full-time jobs, with work moving to India.

Eh why?  I thought we owned the fucking thing?   Why are our politicians letting them move jobs from the UK to India?

This is a perfect example of why Scotland should be independent.  We have no control over our institutions.  We bailed out this BRITISH company, then Cameron stands by and lets them move jobs to India?  Can you imagine Alex Salmond letting that happen, if of course we had control over our own affairs?

I don't see it.  We have to have more control over our politicians!

WOULD YOU HAVE TAKEN THE DOSH IF YOU WERE HESTER?

Hester contemplates jumping off a high place

Would you have taken the money if you had been Stephen Hester?

Putting aside whether he should have got it, or whether he deserves it, if it was in his contract, I think he should have got it.  I don't think it should gave been in his contract in the first place, but how many of us would have taken it, had we had the chance?  I don't think either that Goodwin should have to give back his knighthood.  There  are many other bastards, most of them Lords who should have been striped of their 'honours'.  Indeed many of the fuckers, particularly politicians, should have never been honoured in the first place.  If we are going to continue with an outdated system of 'rewarding' people for doing their job, it should just be people who are inspirational, helped their fellow me or raised a lot of money for charity, apart from Bob Geldorf, that is.  He only ever sang one decent song and his charitable efforts merely enriched him by extending his career.  Same goes for that bastard Paul McCartney, he's another hopeless twat.

IS NOW THE TIME FOR INDEPENDENCE?

Should the new SNP Government now go for full independence?

You won't be surprised to hear me say yes.  Like it or not, Scots have always considered that Scotland is a separate nation from England.  In many ways like the opinion, that many Englishmen have, that England is a separate country from Scotland and shouldn't be a part of the EU.  I think the Scots are endured by many English.  They are fed shite about how Scotland is a drain on the English purse, when anyone with a modicum of intelligence can look at the GERS reports online and see that Scotland has been in surplus for many years.  Indeed, oil, a Scottish asset has floated the British Economy since the early 70s, a fact that is rarely mentioned.  Then we hear the crap about how the English bailed out the Scottish Banks, RBS and HBOS.  Well, these have been British companies, albeit with their HQs in Scotland, since 1707 and in any case the last time I looked, Halifax was not in Scotland.

Is there an economic case for independence?  Again I would say yes.  There is still some oil left in Scottish waters, so please, don't lets squander what's left.  We have 40% of all renewable potential in Europe with wave power going to be an important feature.  We should have control of these assets in Scotland, to be used for the good of the Scottish people, like they do in Norway.  Control of the seabed round Scotland should be our first priority.  At the moment that right belongs to the British Monarchy.  Osborne gave the Queen massive dividends from that source in his budget, (which was sneaked in so no-one noticed it), and I'm sure they don't need anymore money than they currently  have.

Politically, as the people of Scotland realise that an SNP Government is there to govern for Scotland and doesn't have one eye on their masters in London, they will realise the benefits of an independent nation.  The people of Scotland have the right to self determination in just the same way as the new Arab states do, so in my opinion now is the time to forge ahead to  independence.

NON-SCOT STUDENTS TO PAY <£6000 AT SCOTS UNIVERSITIES.

Students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland who go to university in Scotland could face annual fees of up to £6,000, D.L. has learned.
The plan is believed to be in a Scottish government Green Paper on education funding for the future.
Scottish students studying at home currently pay no tuition fees, but the SNP administration's paper is thought to contain plans for a graduate tax.
Quite right too.  That's £3000 less than in England and if Scottish universities want to compete with England they will have to get more money from somewhere.  Non-Scot students, get a degree here and usually then go back home taking the skills that they have learnt here, in Scotland, with them.  Like that useless twat, who is second heir to the throne, Willie.
For too long the British economy has floated on what should have  been Scotland's bounty, oil.  Now that the British banking system has failed, thanks to lax controls by Labour, someone must pay the piper.  Some may say that RBS, is a Scottish bank.  Well, it had it's HQ in Edinburgh as do many financial institutions, but it has been paying tax to the British Treasury since 1707 and it's owned by the Rothschild group as part of the Inter-Alpha banking group and personally speaking, I don't see why we should be bailing out those bastards anyway.  Particularly as they will hold some of the bonds that the British Government has issued to pay the debt.
Is it just me, or is that crazy, OR IS IT CORRUPT?

RBS OWED £237M BY LIVERPOOL FC, WTF?

Royal Bank of Scotland has dismissed claims that it has been in discussions with any potential bidder for Liverpool FC, which owes the bank £237m.  (WTF, it should be!)
The current owners have tried to put a valuation of £650m to £800m on the club, which they acquired in 2007 when they paid £220m to buy out existing shareholders and take on £45m of debt.  Huang is said to have offered £325m. The Americans are under pressure to agree a deal or risk RBS pressing for repayment of the entire debt, driving Liverpool into an ignominious administration.

I don't doubt that Liverpool FC are worth the £237m that they owe RBS.  But why the fuck have RBS extended that size of a loan to them.  That must be taking about £35m per annum to finance.
Manchester United are reportedly £800m in debt, yet both they and Liverpool continue to pay mind-boggling salaries to talentless fuckwits, £120k, £180k, £200k per week!  Fucking obscene!  At least Man Utd are in the Champions League, Liverpool are in the wilderness and they still pay Fernando Torres ridiculous amounts of money.  Now I don't doubt that the lad can score a decent goal or two, but he's always injured.  It must be obvious to Liverpool FC, that he can only manage about 20 games a season.  That's no use.  Punt the bastard and pay back our bank some money that you owe us.

Is the whole Premiership built on sand and is this the year, it IMPLODES?

p.s. Sorry to anyone who arrived here expecting the usual sparkling, politically incisive post, but there was FUCK ALL WORTH EXPLORING!  ;-((

TURNS OUT FRED GOODWIN'S A GOOD'UN!

It transpires that while Sir Fred Goodwin was making £4.2 million in his last year at RBS, there were TWO HUNDRED, (200)!, other people who MADE MORE THAN HIM.

FUCK ME!  ALL TOGETHER NOW.  WE ARE SORRY SIR FRED THAT WE CALLED YOU A GREEDY ARSEHOLE.  In the circumstances you were VERY GOOD VALUE.  SORRY AGAIN!

RBS EMPLOYEES TO GET UP TO £5M EACH IN BONUSES

THE state-owned Royal Bank of Scotland is planning to hand out record bonuses of up to £5m each in a snub to struggling taxpayers.
The average employee in its high-risk investment banking arm is likely to take home £240,000, with the top 20 staff in line for payments of between £1m and £5m.
The payouts by the investment banking division — from a total pay and bonus pot of £4 billion — would top the deals awarded at the peak of the financial boom in 2007 and are 66% higher than those paid last year.
It seems that the culture of big city bonuses continues on apace despite what the OWNERS of the Bank IE. YOU and ME THINK. I don't blame the TRADERS for taking it if offered, I would, but the blame must go to this CRETINOUS, INEPT GOVERNMENT and in particular to the ONE-EYED FUCKWIT REPUTEDLY IN CHARGE!
