A third Conservative Scottish election candidate has stood down, as the party officially launched its campaign for Holyrood. David Meikle had demanded an investigation into the ranking of candidates for the party's Glasgow's list, alleging electoral malpractice.
Meanwhile, a top Liberal Democrat candidate for the Scottish elections has quit the party. Hugh O'Donnell was the leading candidate in the party's Central Scotland list. Mr O'Donnell said was unhappy with the direction of the party in Scotland and the UK Tory/Lib Dem coalition.
New polls have shown that the SNP is within touching distance of the 40% it need to be the largest party in Scotland and be elected again under the slogan, 'Alex Salmond for First Minister'
The UNIONIT parties have been shown to have not a clue about what the requirements of the Scottish people are as they squabble amongst themselves to please their Illuminati masters at Westminster.
