YOU COULD HEAR A PIN DROP AS CASH FOR HONOURS QUESTION WAS ASKED!
CASH FOR HONOURS – YOU COULD HAVE HEARD A PIN DROP
SNP MP Angus MacNeil, questioned the Deputy Prime
Minister on the connection between honours and donations to political
parties.
The question by Mr MacNeil, who sparked the cash for honours
investigation, was greeted by an awkward silence in the Commons. His
question followed the announcement of 54 further appointments to the
Lords.
Commenting outside the chamber Mr MacNeil said:
“There should be no connection between donations and honours, but the
awkward silence of MPs across the London parties said it all - you
could have heard a pin drop in the chamber. Needless to say Nick Clegg
fudged the answer.
“Members from all other political parties seemed to squirm and look at
their feet or their finger nails as the Lords is still tainted by the
connection between political donations and peerages.
“The new government may talk the talk on House of Lords reform but we
still have far too many big donors being elevated to the upper House.”
No one from the SNP sits in the Lords as they are men of principle, who don't get elevated to the peerage by favour or by buying a seat, with a considerable cash donation to a party. The whole system stinks and it was time it was pulled down and started again.
All smoke and mirrors. There is still a stench from Westminster. But, did we really believe they would clean it up? If you did, I'm sorry but you are naive in the extreme!

GEORGE FOULKES RETIRES-ANOTHER LABOUR BAWBAG FEATHERS HIS RETIREMENT NEST.
Update: Foulkes claims £45k exes for staying in his own flat
Foulkes was 'drunk and disorderly' but wanted to BAN SMOKING in 1985
Foulkes is one of the ZIONIST, 'LABOUR FRIENDS OF ISRAEL'
BAWBAG says'DON'T ASSOCIATE ME WITH THAT FUCKPIG'!
Labour MSP George Foulkes has announced he is to quit Holyrood in favour of the House of Lords.
Lord Foulkes said he would not be standing in next year's Scottish elections. He was elected to the Scottish Parliament in 2007 and also previously served as an MP.
A waste of space, another vacuous LABOUR PLACEMAN. Now he'll go and sit in the Lords and collect his attendance money and his exes. I sincerely hope THAT HIS NEXT SHITE IS A VERY, VERY, LARGE, HEDGEHOG! Cheerio and GOOD RIDDANCE.

TWO SHAGS PRESCOTT JOINS THE 'VERMIN WITH ERMIN'!
So, UBER-SOCIALIST, John, TWO SHAGS, (sorry Jags), Prescott, is to join the 'VERMIN WITH ERMIN', as he once described the HOUSE OF LORDS.
FUCK ME! They're not long in tugging their forelocks when a PEERAGE comes calling. Prescott would have you believe of course, that he really doesn't want it, but it's his wife, PAULINE, who's insisting on it. Well, that's what you get for being a SHAGGER, John! All your LABOUR PALS, who in reality, will be cringing with embarrassment, will come up with the SHITE about how it is great that a (WORKING!), MAN CAN RISE TO THE NOBILITY. To them, I say, AYE, MY BIG FAT ARSE!

I AGREE WITH JACK STRAW-I MUST BE LOSING IT!
Jack Straw, (the weasel faced bastard), is said to be working on plans to include the abolition of the HOUSE OF LORDS and it's replacement with an elected SENATE, modelled on the American legislature with elections held at the same time as a General Election with members being able to sit for a maximum of three, five year terms.
Strangely enough, for once in my life, I broadly agree with LABOUR! I think it's time we got rid of the House of Lords and it should be elected. I don't agree though that it should be elected at the same time as at a General Election. If it was, it would broadly reflect the same vote as the make-up of the Commons, even if it was by proportional representation. It would be much better if it was elected MID-TERM and then perhaps it would be of a different make-up to the Commons and consequently it would not necessarily agree with the voting intentions of the upper house and would therefore be better placed to be a check on the Government of the day. It shouldn't be able to make legislation but should be used to scrutinise what the Upper house is doing and if necessary send it back to them for amending.
The wearing of ermine robes should not be compulsory!
