The Leader of Glasgow City Council, STEVEN PURCELL, resigned today after allegedly having a furious row with Scottish Secretary, JIM MURPHY, over the conducting of Scottish Labour's Election strategy.

PURCELL was seen as one of the 'RISING STARS' of the Labour party in Scotland so it poses the interesting question, WHY ARE LABOUR POLITICIANS SO FUCKING UGLY?

More than 200 passengers were ordered off a plane moments before it was due to take off after a large rat was discovered on board.

 MURPHY FAILED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT GLASGOW LOSING STUDENT LOANS COMPANY JOBS

Glasgow SNP MSP Bill Kidd has slammed Jim Murphy's comments on unemployment as 'hypocrisy' following revelations that the Scotland Office did nothing to stop Student Loans Company jobs being lost in Glasgow and moving to Darlington. 
Responding to the unemployment figures Jim Murphy claimed that "the British Government will work night and day to help people back into work and create the jobs of the future".

Yet a Freedom of Information request has shown that he did nothing to stop or avert the Student Loans Company (SLC) plans to axe up to 150 jobs from the company's sites in Glasgow and Hillington, in Renfrewshire. It was also reported that another 45 posts would be moved from Hillington to Darlington.

Commenting Mr Kidd said:  "Jim Murphy’s lack of action on Scottish jobs in Glasgow just exposes how his department is nothing but a tax payer subsidised campaign office for Labour. That money should be used to create jobs and support Scotland, not to talk it down.  "The fact he failed to even act to save Scottish jobs raises serious questions about how he is employing his time as Scottish Secretary. To say nothing about jobs being lost to Scotland exposes the hypocrisy of his statement on unemployment.  "Instead of saving people's jobs in Scotland the only one job he is really concerned about is his own. That is why he spends so much time attacking the SNP despite saying he would ignore us! His fixation is causing serious harm to Scotland and his constituents who he is failing to represent."

As said many times on this Blog, MR MURPHY would do well to remember he is Scotland's man in the Cabinet and is supposed to fight for Scottish interests within Government, not be some sort of POLITICAL COMMISAR FOR THE LABOUR PARTY IN SCOTLAND!

POLITICIANS who back illegal immigrants determined to stay in the country are undermining public confidence in the system, Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy has claimed.
In a thinly veiled attack on Alex Salmond, Mr Murphy said a "firm but fair" immigration policy was needed to help meet the country's employment needs.


Mr Murphy said: "Public confidence is not helped by some politicians consistently defending the right of  immigrants to stay in the country.  "I make no apology for making the distinction between those who should come to Scotland and those who are here illegally."But Scottish Government source accused Mr Murphy of trying to score cheap political points with his "tawdry" comments.

The only mistake that was made as far as I am concerned WAS LETTING MURPHY'S FAMILY INTO THE COUNTRY IN THE FIRST PLACE!

WHAT I THINK OF JIM MURPHY!

Scottish Secretary, Jim Murphy, (the scrotum on the right, sitting next to the most INEPT politician on the planet, Labour Leader Iain Gray) and the SCOTTISH OFFICE, (for dis-information), have been at it again trying to talk down independence by selectively picking figures from the Scottish Budget purporting to show SCOTLAND couldn't stand on it's own two feet.  My feelings for Murphy are summed up by the following quote:

He flipped his Residences from London to Glasgow after 'claiming he was working more in Scotland' now.  Well, Mr Murphy, your job is to represent 'Scotland' at Westminster and in the Cabinet.  YOU SHOULD NOT BE working more up here, you SHOULD BE GETTING YOUR ORDERS FROM THE SNP AND REPRESENTING US DOWN THERE!

JIM MURPHY MEETS POPE BENEDICT XV1

Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy, a prominent Catholic, yesterday
met Pope Benedict XVI, in St Peter's Square.

"I couldn't quite hear what he was saying", Mr Murphy said.
"He was standing up on a balcony and there was quite a big crowd and they were very noisy. A few hours later however one of the Nuns who were there passed me a message from his Holiness to all his flock in Scotland.

Why is The Scottish Secretary, JIM MURPHY, such an annoying SHITEBAG?



His job is to be SCOTLAND'S REPRESENTATIVE in the UK Cabinet. Not some ranting, Labour Party, political mouthpiece.



He never misses a fucking opportunity to have a go at the legitimate Scottish Government in Holyrood.



Devolution was set up by his party and it is just too bad if the people of Scotland decide that they are fed up with the same old Labour, Scottish sleaze and bring in a SNP Government which works for the country.



He would be better talking to his fellow SHITEBAGS, DARLING and BROON SO THAT THEY DON'T CUT £500 MILLION FROM THE SCOTTISH BUDGET NEXT YEAR and allow the SNP to continue the good work they have started despite the budget cutbacks.



A joint Cabinet meeting of the UK and Scottish Cabinets when Broon brings them up here in a few weeks was a brilliant idea. Which Broon through Murphy jumped on from a great height, suggesting a dinner meeting.
