SPEED CAMERAS WHICH CHECK IF YOU'VE GOT A BIT OF SPINACH IN YOUR TEETH!

Even the most law-abiding driver might feel a shiver down the spine when spotting this speed camera at the roadside. 

For as well as detecting speeding, it is packed with gizmos that check number plates to make sure insurance and tax are up to date.

It also measures the distance between vehicles to spot tailgating and takes pictures of the inside of the car – to make sure you are wearing a seat belt, (or if anyone is giving the driver a blowjob)

The latest weapon in speed camera technology can capture footage from 150ft away.

It is the first to detect multiple offences at the same time and is connected to police computers via satellite, so that prosecutions can be started within seconds of any offence.

Development of the system, known as Asset – Advanced Safety and Driver Support for Essential Road Transport – is being funded with around £7million of European money. 

Now, don't get me wrong, I've always had tax and insurance.  But, is there not a fundamental issue being raised here.  We are already the most watched nation in the world with CCTV cameras catching us if we even fart in the wrong place, now we have a traffic camera which can tell if, our tax disc is out of date and if we're wearing our seat belt.  Again, I always wear my seat belt since it saved my life in an accident in Ireland years ago, but if I want to go flying out of my windscreen, surely that is fucking up to me?  Are they not out of date anyway with all these air bags, we have now?

The important part of this story is, 'with around £7m of European money'.  I might have known that the Marxist control freaks in the EU, would be behind it.  I have people come on here and make comments that I am a conspiracy theorist.  Well guys, I'll tell you one thing, when I see EU control freakery at work like this, it doesn't change my mind. 

BROWN - I CUT BACK THE MONEY FOR HELICOPTERS

Gordon Brown admitted this afternoon at the Chilcot Enquiry that he cut the HELICOPTER BUDGET from £3 billion to £1.6 billion.

Asked by the Chairman why he had done this and what he had spent the money on, Brown replied, "well you see we needed money to help Lesbians and Gays, some Asylum seekers didn't have very nice houses and they had been used to a front and back garden in their own countries.  We also spent some of the money training people like Traffic Wardens and Council Officials to be annoying bastards.  We needed some of it for Trident, a weapon we can't fire unless the Americans give us permission and anyway we've got to buy the spare parts from them.  We needed of course CCTVs and Speed Cameras, so we could see what everyone was doing and finally I had to spend £300 million on 10 Downing Street when I moved in to make sure it was splendid enough for me, a very important person".

At that Mr Brown flung a Laptop at the Chairman and stormed out of the building.

DRONE PLANES TO MONITOR CIVILLIANS IN BRITAIN!

Unmanned drones similar to those used in Afghanistan are set to be used in Britain to spy on drivers, campaigners, agricultural thieves and fly-tippers, it was revealed today.  A group of government agencies led by Kent Police has commissioned arms manufacturer BAE systems to adapt military-style planes for civilian use.

According to a report published in the Guardian, a prototype drone equipped with high-powered cameras and sensors will take to the skies for test flights later this year.  BAE Systems and Kent police reportedly claim that the drones would 'greatly extend' the government's surveillance capacity and 'revolutionise policing.'


Previously, Kent police have said the drone scheme was intended for use over the English Channel to monitor shipping and detect immigrants crossing from France.  However reports suggest their use could be far more widespread - including detecting theft from cash machines, preventing theft of tractors and monitoring antisocial driving.  The consortium also suggested the drones could be used by councils to combat 'fly-posting, fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, abnormal loads and waste management'.

Five other police forces have signed up to the scheme, which could pave the way for countrywide adoption of the technology for surveillance, monitoring and evidence gathering.

This to my mind is ONE STEP too far, the 'one that broke the camel's back' moment.  We are already the most surveyed country in the world with CCTV cameras watching our every move.  We can be tracked by cameras the moment we leave our drives until we get to our destination.  We can either start the fightback now by joining campaigns like the NO2ID CARDS on this site or sink further into a BIG BROTHER STATE.

The number of town hall-controlled Big Brother CCTV cameras has trebled in a decade, it emerged last night.



There are now 60,000 cameras trained on members of the public by council snoopers - one for every 1,000 people in the UK.  The huge increase has cost hundreds of millions of pounds, including at least £170million in Home Office grants - although there are doubts over whether the cameras actually help catch criminals.  Many images are so poor they cannot be used to identify violent thugs, while police have admitted as few as one crime is solved for every 1,000 cameras.

SO WHY DO WE HAVE THEM?  ANSWER.  SO WE CAN BE SNOOPED ON BY AN EVER INCREASINGLY TOTALITARIAN STATE.  DOES ANYONE DISAGREE?
