FACEBOOK SHOULD TAKE DOWN THE RIP RAOUL MOAT SITES

Facebook has rebuffed a call by David Cameron for the removal of tributes to the gunman Raoul Moat which have been left on the social networking site. 
The Prime Minister condemned the online praise being paid to the "callous murderer" yesterday and instructed Downing Street to raise its concerns with the company over the web page of the "RIP Raoul Moat You Legend" group.

I don't always agree with Cameron but in this case I think he's right.  This bastard was a thug who was involved in the drug industry in Newcastle for 20 plus years.  Christ knows how many young people he sent to an early grave.  He is not a puppy dog or some contestant on Big Brother, he was a homicidal bastard who was probably mentally unhinged but that doesn't excuse him from murdering an innocent person and trying to kill others.  The only one who thought he was a great guy, was some brain dead, ex-footballer who is in a state of being permanently drunk most of the time and even when he's sober has problems stringing two words together.

DRONE PLANES TO MONITOR CIVILLIANS IN BRITAIN!

Unmanned drones similar to those used in Afghanistan are set to be used in Britain to spy on drivers, campaigners, agricultural thieves and fly-tippers, it was revealed today.  A group of government agencies led by Kent Police has commissioned arms manufacturer BAE systems to adapt military-style planes for civilian use.

According to a report published in the Guardian, a prototype drone equipped with high-powered cameras and sensors will take to the skies for test flights later this year.  BAE Systems and Kent police reportedly claim that the drones would 'greatly extend' the government's surveillance capacity and 'revolutionise policing.'


Previously, Kent police have said the drone scheme was intended for use over the English Channel to monitor shipping and detect immigrants crossing from France.  However reports suggest their use could be far more widespread - including detecting theft from cash machines, preventing theft of tractors and monitoring antisocial driving.  The consortium also suggested the drones could be used by councils to combat 'fly-posting, fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, abnormal loads and waste management'.

Five other police forces have signed up to the scheme, which could pave the way for countrywide adoption of the technology for surveillance, monitoring and evidence gathering.

This to my mind is ONE STEP too far, the 'one that broke the camel's back' moment.  We are already the most surveyed country in the world with CCTV cameras watching our every move.  We can be tracked by cameras the moment we leave our drives until we get to our destination.  We can either start the fightback now by joining campaigns like the NO2ID CARDS on this site or sink further into a BIG BROTHER STATE.

SPEAKER WANTS 'SAFE' SEAT WHERE HE CAN'T BE CHALLENGED!!!

Speaker John Bercow wants to switch to a new seat with only MPs as his ‘constituents’ so he can avoid a humiliating defeat by former UKIP leader Nigel Farage at the next General Election.

It would mean abandoning his Buckingham seat for the newly created one called St Stephen’s – the name of the old House of Commons chapel – where, effectively, it would be impossible to challenge him.


He put forward the idea amid speculation that he may struggle to defeat Mr Farage, who stepped down as UKIP leader to take on Mr Bercow in defiance of the custom where the Commons Speaker is not challenged by the main parties.

I think most of us would agree that Britain is becoming like a "BIG BROTHER" STATE. There are certainly less freedoms around now, that 12 years ago. A few examples are:

• UNHINDERED PHONE TAPS
• NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY WITH YOUR CHILDREN OR KISS THEM PUBLICLY
• ALL SORTS OF ORGANISATIONS CAN ENTER YOUR PREMISES WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION OR TAKE MONEY FROM YOU BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE, LIKE COUNCILS, GAS BOARD, LONDON TRANSPORT
• BEING PHOTOGRAPHED, LOGGED AND SOMETIMES KILLED ON A PEACEFUL DEMO AND THE POLICE GETTING OFF WITH IT
• SOME WOULD ADD SMOKING IN PUBS

These are just a few examples but I am sure you can make up your own.

Your M.P. is in Parliament to look after YOUR INTERESTS. So where has he been over the last 12 years. We know they're good at taking public money, but WHEN WERE THE VOTES ON THE ABOVE LIBERTIES and if there wasn't a vote, WHY THE FUCK NOT?
