A student and his Ho' are furious after being called a 'black couple' on their receipt by staff at a pub.
They ordered at the bar, without a table number, before going upstairs to find a seat.
When they went to pay for the meal the comment 'upstairs blk couple' was printed on the bill.
Manager Beejabers O'Flarrety invited the couple back to the pub to prove its 'great intentions' and to tell them to come on, come on, ye pair of feckers.!
He offered them a complimentary bottle of house Champagne - the £29.95 Lancombe Label Noir(none of your shite) - and a Creole sharing platter with extra hominy grits and black eyed peas worth £11.25.
But Mr Chicken George, from Harlem, New York, said: 'Champagne and a platter isn't compensation. I want a dinner suit like the head waiter had.
'The area manager has phoned to apologise but the waitress told us to fuck off.'
FOR FUCK'S SAKE GET A LIFE! If I had been in a restaurant in Barbados and I was called white, it wouldn't bother me or 99% of other white people.

Surely if you'd been in Barbados and that had happened you'd have phoned your lawyer back in Drumnadrochit and told him to sue right away.
I'm surprised at you DL. :)
I thought " black " was an approved phrase ? Now if the bill had been anotated " fkng ngngs " they would have had cause for real complaint.
Reminds of me when some years ago at Rileys snooker place where the local overseas Muslim students go because they can sin behind closed doors. One got given a hamburger rather than a beefburger as ordered. He was offered compensation for this heinous slight upon his faith. He demanded lager but got told to fuck right off.
Considering how much they were conyent to pay for a portion of apple crumble, UPSTAIRS MNY-WSTNG BSTRDS seems more appropriate.
You should have shown their photos DL ( London Evening Standard).
The waiter should have written "big lipped plooky foreheaded brother with his bitch" as what would have happened if a second black couple had visited the restaurant ?
Subrosa, I would have told him to come over first class and to take it out of the expenses I would be paid by the black judge. To add insult to injury I might have been called a fat, white, scotch git and the scotch would have really got on my tits.
Caster, I saw their photos and you could have stuck him onto a shop window with those lips, his mama probably did when he was a kid. The restaurant was probably in Heley or somewhere equally posh, so the chance of two black couples would have been rare. Either that or the food was shite and there was no-one in the joint.
Dark Lochnagar if you where in Barbado's I am sure you would never come across racism.....or would you?
The west coast of Barbados is known as a favorite winter destination for British tourists on the rocky east side of the island live a community of McCluskies, Sinclairs and Baileys who are not, as might be expected, black Bajans
Known as the Redlegs, they are the direct descendants of the Scots transported to Barbados by Cromwell after the Civil War also many of these people were English, Irish, or Scottish, and had originally arrived on Barbados in the early to mid 17th century as slaves, and indentured servants. Scottish author and broadcaster Chris Dolan went to meet them to discover why they are still here 350 years later, what they know about their roots, and what their prospects are today when they are the poorest community on the island.

In addition to Redlegs the term underwent extensive progression in Barbados and the following terms were also used: “Redshanks”, “Poor whites”, “Poor Backra”, “Backra Johnny”, “Ecky-Becky”, “Poor whites from below the hill”,”Edey white mice” or “Beck-e Neck” (Baked-neck). Historically everything besides “poor whites” were used as derogatory insults.

@cuthulan, yes the bottom of the shit pile in the carib was the nonfree white.
Cuthulan. Thanks for that. I actually saw a programme about the "redlegs" on BBC Scotland not so long ago. It was really interesting. I don't know if you live in Scotland but I think it was just shown here. There was a lot of the redlegs left from Ayr harbour which is close to where I live and indeed I spent 25 years working at the fishmarket that used to be there. You are excelling yourself today with info!
Incoming!!!! It was interesting because the slaves had been purchased so they were valuable but the redlegs were working to pay for land so if they died it didn't matter, so you are right they were treated like shite.
Instead of offering champagne,I'd have asked them if they wanted a complimentary bowl of coonflakes or wogabix
Ah but Ansel, that would have been racist and you're not allowed to do that.
