Great news for the SNP!
The ORANGE ORDER in SCOTLAND is to support the LABOUR PARTY at the next election. They have abandoned their support for the TORY PARTY because they haven't got a SCOOBY of winning the Election in Scotland.
So, they are going to support a PARTY who are their natural enemies and whom they have railed against for years. And why? Because they are the only UNIONIST PARTY who have any hope of stopping the SNP.
How this will play with the traditional CATHOLIC SUPPORTERS of the LABOUR PARTY will be interesting.
Vote LABOUR and vote for the Party, "UP TO THEIR KNEES IN FENIAN BLOOD"!

Despite the amusement value , I'm finding this interesting as regards what will happen in Lanarkshire Labour politics .
Most of the Orangemen and non-Orangemen I know who despise the Labour RC mafia were grinning from ear to ear when Salmond won that election .

Indeed it is Scunnert. I thought that the two organisations hated each other like fuck, but there you go. I don't know why they can't get their head round independence with the Queen still as head of state.
It's the same in Ayrshire, Oligarch. I've got a good friend in Motherwell who is a first generation Scot with an Irish background. He is a red hot labour man and knows most of the Mps personally. I must ask him what he thinks.

An Orange MP would probably turn out to be less sectarian than a muppet like him .
I've met Frank Roy a couple of times Oli and believe me he is a muppet and a thick fucking muppet at that. From a personal point of view< I don't give a fuck what their views on religion are as long as they are in favour of an independent Scotland if need be with the Queen as head of state although that would be up for arguement as far as I am concerned. But that is for another day. However when the Orange Lodge says they are going to support Labour, I am mystified as to why apart from them being Unionist as they have been an abonimation to them for decades. I would be equally scathing had some Catholic organisation like the Hibernian Boys or whatever they're called came out for Labour.
I'm not ready to make that jump to the SNP yet , DL .
However my hatred of the Labour mafia is so great that I'm glad the SNP are gubbing them .
Distrust of the SNP is so widespread , I think , that they'll be struggling ever to get a majority .
Perhaps it's time for a new party that aims to put Scotland first while still in the UK ?
