80% OF BRITAIN'S POLITICIANS SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT AND SHOT FOR THIS DISGRACE!

On the same day in the House of Commons, MPs are given a rare opportunity to debate the war that claimed Lance Corporal Joseph Pool’s life  And only one in six turn up.
In Westminster, it was the first time MPs have been able to vote on the Afghanistan conflict since the 2001 invasion.  But despite many claiming there was ‘no issue of greater importance’ than the war, fewer than 100 bothered to attend the debate.

If ever anything illustrated the difference between the political class in this country and the rest of us, this was it.  There are 550 MPs who should hang their heads in shame.  This is why we need independence.  To bring the Government nearer to the people.  Imagine for one minute, if a Scottish Government had taken Scotland into the Afghan war and at the first debate for 9 years only 16% of MSPs had turned up?  They would have been hounded from office, but the fuckwits in London seem to change when they get down there.  Maybe the grand surrounds of Westminster turn their heads.  I don't know.  But, I do know one thing. (Some people say, only one thing-Ed).  They are a totally different person after they go down there for the first time, with a few notable exceptions.  When they get elected they would crawl, up your very arsehole, to get your vote, but two working months later, they couldn't give a fuck.  Write to your MP and ask if he was at the debate and if not, why not?  Particularly, if as most of us have in Scotland, Labour MPs.  What we're they too busy?

Which, if any, of the above statements do you find strange?  Personally there are none of them surprise me.  I don't also believe in this pish about some whistle blower.  This is a CIA black op if ever I saw one.  A year ago, I might have fallen for it, but I have become more and more cynical the more I learn about our 'war' in Afghanistan and Iraq.  As usual our brave young men are dying as pawns of the fucking politicians. 

Is there no POLITICIAN in this country, is going to stand up and say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"!  Are we gullible bastards, fed a diet of war and shite on the telly, going to stand up and  say "FUCK THIS, FOR A GAME OF SODJERS"!  (Scottish Expression).  Because I'll tell you one thing, if we don't our Grandchildren are fucked.  Me?  I don't care.  The D.L. line dies with me!

A SOLDIER'S TALE

SGT GAVIN HARVEY AND FAMILY

Gavin Harvey is not an average man. An inspirational leader, according to his commanding officer, he is a man of huge courage and extraordinary grit.
He’d been serving with the British Army for 11 years when he took command of the convoy on August 4 in Helmand to re-supply the Mercian Regiment with water and ammunitions.  The convoy was taking part in Operation Panther’s Claw, the British-led military operation in southern Afghanistan to secure various canal and river crossings and establish a lasting International Security Assistance Force presence in one of the main Taliban strongholds, ahead of the 2009 Afghan presidential election.


‘Basically, I struck an IED (improvised explosive device) that killed Anthony and left me like this,’ he says, gesturing to the place where his legs used to be.  Craftsman Anthony Lombardi’s death still troubles him deeply. He was a friend and had a son, Harvey, who is not yet one year old. Gavin was the sergeant in command of the convoy.  ‘I was devastated when I was told he was dead,’ he says. ‘It’s awful when you get close to someone and hear about their families if they’ve got kids - then they’re just gone. I did this to me.’

‘The thing is IEDs are so frequent in Panther’s Claw. It’s like playing Minesweeper without the numbers.  You’ve got no idea where they are. The explosion must have been quick. The blast knocked me out. I remember waking up and I had three teeth missing. I had blood in my mouth and thought I had internal injuries. I spat it out and tried to breath again.


‘There was blood everywhere. I thought: “Oh s***, not me.” The blast had blown ammunition and food all over the place. I was lying on top of it in the dirt. I tried to get up and that’s when I realised my legs had been blown to bits. There were bones and tendons showing.  ‘I couldn’t feel them. It was all numb. I couldn’t feel any pain. It felt tight. Everything felt really tight, really strange.  ‘I remember looking at myself. My internal organs had come out. They were everywhere. I could see them. I had a ruptured bladder, a ruptured stomach. It was pretty much as bad as you can get — pretty much like, “I’m dead.”


Unlike the SCUMMY POLITICIANS at the CHILCOT ENQUIRY, Gavin takes full responsibilities for his actions.  Now the POLITICIANS SHOULD ACCEPT THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAKE SURE THAT MEN LIKE GAVIN ARE PROPERLY LOOKED AFTER, AFTER DYING AND BEING MAIMED FOR THEIR COUNTRY!

BRITISH ARMY TOLD TO FIRE BLANKS!

British soldiers banned from using live bullets to save money

British soldiers are being forced to train with blanks rather than live rounds to save money The entire Territorial Army (TA) and a number of non frontline regular army units will be affected by the ban on the use of real bullets in personal weapons, according to defence sources. The bullet ban is the result of a £700m cut in the money available to run the army in the UK.

Soldiers are required to maintain basic standards of proficiency in the use of their weapons; the SA80 is the standard issue service rifle, while officers use a Browning 9mm pistol. They must pass an annual test, demonstrating their ability to clean their weapons, fire at a target to calibrate or “zero” the sights, and then achieve a specific score firing live rounds. They fire a minimum of 100 live rounds, with the average non-infantry soldier firing about 300 a year. The cost of a single SA80 live round is approximately 30p, compared with 10p for a blank.


"We are going to try and get an agreement with the TALIBAN to use paint-ball guns instead. It would make sense both in CASUALTY NUMBERS AND COST if we just shouted BANG BANG, YOU'RE DEAD! Our only cost then would be cleaning the PAINT OFF THE UNIFORMS although PERSIL ARE KEEN ON A SPONSORSHIP DEAL. The army would have to have the logo "sponsored by PERSIL, NON-BIO, WASHES PAINT AT 30 DEGREES" on the back of their jackets. We would sort of blend it in to the CAMOUFLAGE SO IT DIDN'T STICK OUT TOO MUCH," an army spokesman said yesterday.
