SCOTLAND BILL IS A SMOKESCREEN!

Alex Salmond has attacked the Scotland Bill, unveiled today by the London Unionists and formulated by their QUISLING colleagues in Scotland.

He said the Scotland Bill’s proposals to give MSPs power to raise income tax in return for Holyrood giving up some of its block grant from Westminster as a “backward step”.
At a press conference at Bute House in Edinburgh, his official residence, he produced figures suggesting the total cuts in the block grant would be £8 billion more than the money raised in income tax if the powers had been in place over the past decade.
He also claimed that most of the extra income tax revenues generated by future economic booms would flow to the Treasury, not Scotland.
If they want Scotland to be responsible for raising and spending tax, why not let us go the whole hog and have total responsibility for all taxes and spending.  It's going to come sooner or later and the UNIONIST TRAITORS in THE LABOUR, LIBDEMS AND CONSERVATIVES branches in Scotland know it as well.
This hotchpotch of powers will not satisfy the people of Scotland!

No matter the time nor tide the Unionists plan for Scotland's destruction. They can't help themselves - stuck as they are in the past they can't see the future.

Only full fiscal autonomy can work. You have to have the full range of taxes to juggle including VAT and duty and of course full responsibility for borrowing.

Only a complete muppet woud think that the blunt instrument of a single tax is any use.

Oh yeah, wait a minute. Who came up with the scheme....?

McGonners, You'd wonder what they do to hold onto Scotland. We hear moans from England about our different social regime, if it's bothering you that much let us go!

Tris, I agree. This tinkering at the edges is no use. Give us the right to raise taxes as we see fit, not as dictated by Westminster.

Weel said Mr Lochnagar. Ah'm sat here wonderin whit Mr Calman thocht he wis oan when he made this system up, cos made-up it is ah tell ye! Tae split oor tax system in twa, half here an half doon there, is only gaun tae lead tae trouble, can ye imagine? an every kerfuffle it causes'll be skewed by oor so-called news media till ye widnae recognise it, an there'll be tears, an then eventually it'll come tae the bit an we'll get oor independence. That's whit ah think.

Sophes, I think you're right. They think they're being clever, but in actual fact they've made an arse of it!
