BRITAIN STILL A SHIT PLACE TO LIVE!

How Britain compares graphic

Britain is still a shit place to live according to a new survey, ranking behind even Greece.  And  LOOK MR GRAY, Norway and Ireland, two of the countries in the 'arc of prosperity' are in the TOP FIVE!  How do you imagine that happened?  Oh yes, they're independent of Sweden and Britain, respectively!

These rankings are always quite dodgy, Norway, Canada and New Zealand are normally vying for highest standard of living in the world, THE UN index includes such things as education, environmental issues and gender equality. The UK is lucky to make 26 in my opinion but as long as the football team is higher in the FIFA rankings, the populace should be satisfied.

I like it here...:)

Antonio, yes these surveys are always arguable. I wouldn't want to live in Norway, I don't think, Scotland is cold enough for me. When did we get a British football team?? ( I know what you mean)

Budvar, I don't know, I think I could be an American. They are generally all the things you accuse them of but they have other qualities. There are still places to stay in the States that are not full of Gangstarappas and trailer trash!

Banned, what about Greece. It may be bankrupt, but it's got good weather and you retire at 58. Sounds OK to me!

We didn't owe the money to America. We owed it to the Rothschilds through the American Fed which they own. As usual in war those cunts are the only winners.

Stanners, OK, you can stay for the meantime. :-)

Ireland is not returning to the dark days of mass emigration, Taoiseach Brian Cowen pledged today.

With 100,000 people predicted to flee over the next four years, Mr Cowen accepted the Government had been unable to create enough jobs.

AGRICULTURE MINISTER Brendan Smith has announced a plan to donate 53 tonnes of cheese to the poor coming up to Christmas.

The new scheme, announced by Smith this morning, said the substantial quality of cheese would be made available to volunteer organisations from Monday week, November 15, and would assist those “who are living in poor circumstances and are under pressure.”

Mr Mxyzpkipaki, at least the French are getting something even if it's only some cheese. What do we get here in 'rich Britain', kept going on Scotland's riches BTW, a 2% increase in VAT, so the old and the poor can't aford to put the heating on. Haah!

Why don't the Government produce big posters printed in numerous languages and get them displayed at every airport, ferry terminal and container port in every other country in the world to inform them what a shit place Britain is to live? Please?

Norway any day....

Mind you the language is hard, but what the hell. It would be worth it to get out of this god forsaken, class ridden shit hole.

yes, these things are dodgy, but if the truth be known, we are probably 126th not 26th.

Free Scotland and we'd be in the top 10.

Ed, you see the difference is that all the countries in the top ten, don't let immigrants arrive en masse, they have to pas rules to get in. Britain may be shit, but it is the first world and the fuckers in the third world, who want to get here and I don't blame them, don't realise that. Mind you if they're coming here to join their relations in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Lancashire or Yorkshire, they won't know the difference apart from the weather and the different currency.

Tris, I've never been to Norway, although it looks a nice place, too cold for me though. I bet there's not a lot of Asians there?

Yes, given a chance, Scotland would be at least as high as Ireland, if the people weren't fearties!
