AMERICA CAN'T ACCOUNT FOR $8.7BILLION SPENT IN IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!!

An audit has discovered the U.S. Defense Department can't properly account for how it spent about 95 per cent of $9.1billion in Iraqi oil money earmarked for rebuilding the war-ravaged country.
The U.S. Special Investigator for Iraq Reconstruction report released today said there was shoddy record keeping and a lack of oversight of the $8.7billion. The Pentagon cannot account at all for $2.6billion spent between 2004 and 2007.

I'll just repeat that, THEY CAN'T ACCOUNT AT ALL FOR $2600,000,000.  How fucking amazing is that.  There must be some BLOODY RICH IRANIANS!  Now can any of you  Labour supporters, stand with a STRAIGHT FACE and tell me that the Iraq war was to do with WMD!  Because if you can, then the only thing that I have to say to you is, HOW FUCKING STUPID ARE YOU?

Auch DL it's been mentioned for years that the US lost so much money. Somewhere, a while ago, I read that they took crateloads of dollars into Iraq because the Iraqis wanted hard cash.

It's no surprise surely and, in another 10 years time, the same report will appear in connection with Afghanistan.

The news last night stated there are far more Iraqi civilians still being killed on a daily basis than deaths in Afghanistan. Where does the money come from to fund these groups - it's not just Shia against Sunni.

It's been 20 years since the first Gulf war so that could account for a substantial proportion of bribery and deals to allow oil out of Iraq. I suspect that the content of 90,000 'leaked' documents re-Afghanistan would pale against those from Iraq.

The demeamnour of resigned despair from Dr Hans Blix at the Chilcott 'investigation' over WMD and his opinion of the "poor" (or should that be malicious?) judgement of Bush in particular, and Blair - gives us little hope for the 'lessons to be learned'/'acted in good faith' bilge that will come out of this waste of time...and money.

DL the world is awash with forged and funny money and yet everyone is broke, skint, barassic!! Except Goldman Sucks.

Rumsfeld told us all on 10th Sep 2001 that they couldn't account for trillions in the US Def budget.

The one eyed trouser turd printed more funny money than he let on and still no one will retire, get educated, have malignant illness treated.

We as a society are collectively ill and are toxic. We might need putting down.

Rosie, you wonder what the American taxpayers must feel. They are belt tightening as well and they throw away money as if it's going out of fashion!

Banned, oh you can bet on that! All the 'administration' had fingers in the pie as well. The Bush family fortune will have increased ten fold. Daddy will be pleased!

Headson, the south-east over heats again and the rest of us are given policies which don't suit us financially. Independence for everyone North of the Watford Gap!

Clara, I saw that. The civilian death in Iraq is nothing short of a disgrace. The people are occupied by foreign forces sucking the life blood out of the country with only a few at the top getting any benefit. It's a disgrace and should be more widely reported if the MSM owners weren't stopping their publications reporting it. People say that can't happen but BBC Scotland and the Herald were jumped on from a great height when they wanted to publish stories about Dunblane and Hamilton's ability to organise a paedophile ring which included George Robertson amongst it's members.

This is what happens when you outsource so much of the logistics of a military operation. Of course nowadays 9 billion isn't a lot of money and might just pay for a congressional committee to investigate the collapse of Freddie Mac and Fanny May. These reconstruction contracts are money for old rope After all who really cares about the work done in Iraq or Afghanistan, loved it when the US military was handing out the contracts and they awarded the port management of Basra to Halliburton on the basis that P&O wasn't equipped to manage such a project despite someone pointing out that at the time P&O managed the top 22 US ports and that Basra was being administered by British soldiers

Auld Nick, I would go along with that. The worst dance I was ever at was an Institute of Directors do, where nearly all the other participants were fucking accountants. Fuck me what a night. The bastards hadn't laughed since they had the hives. We were the only table out of 20 getting pished and enjoying ourselves!

Antonio, It is just an excuse to enrich themselves. When the fuck is someone going to stand up and do something about it. It's obscene!
