Against the British? Don't mind any Scots, Welsh or N Irish in the team but good result for the Canadians.

The British won the battle of Bunker Hill in 1775 although it was seen as a pyrrhic victory. We won but took a lot of casualties.
The US beat England in the world cup in 1950 in Rio. The New York Post should have said " US get a great draw against incompetent England but it wasn't as good as 1950 when the US beat England "

I don't know why the North Americans see a win against the English as something great?? After all it was England they were playing, hardly a Germany or Spain.

The whole thing is pathetic to a rugby supporter. :)

Allan, yes their ida of British and English as usual seems a bit squeeif. They don't seem to know that England are no great shakes at footy anyway.

Bunker Hill. Subrosa is almost old enough to remember that. I must ask her.

Rosie, a fine win for the Scots against the mighty Pumas. Do you remember the battle of Bunker Hill?

1-1 against America = Fail.

btw, if you google (images) 'england flag', the Union Flag comes in at nos. 3, 7 and 13 on page one alone.

Banned, well a good part of the world thinks Britain is England, but you know better as you will find out soon when we fuck off and take our oil!
