A female Pensioner was caught driving 'down to the shops' in the above car. For overseas readers who are not used to driving on the left like we do, can I just remind you that the driver is ON THE LEFT OF THE CAR as we look at it! I think if this was my mother, I would be suggesting she got a taxi in future.

I was wondering what offence had been committed in driving on a canal, I don't think we have "reckless conduct' in England. The most they could get here is a trespass/pollution prosecution from the Waterways Authority.

Banned, I don't know about the gene pool, I always thought that was worse in Lincolnshire/Norfolk! Those nutters that drove on the canal should just get locked up indefinately. The woman in the snowed up car should be forced to watch it being crushed, maybe she could sit in it while they do it.
Lorenzo, welcome. You're right BTW she could have caused a serious accident. I've just persuaded my Father-in-law to give up his car at 83. He is starting to suffer from Parkinson's and can barely walk without falling over something and he thinks he is still Ok to drive!
