JAILED PC IS LET OUT FOR 3 DAYS AT XMAS-WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED?

The mother of a 16-year-old Newcastle girl killed by a speeding police officer has hit out at the decision to release him from prison for three days over Christmas.

Grieving Yvonne Adamson is facing her second Christmas without daughter Hayley, who was killed instantly last May when PC John Dougal hit her with his patrol car in Newcastle's West End.  The officer had reached speeds of 94mph in a 30mph zone, without either his sirens or blue lights engaged to warn pedestrians and other drivers.

He will be given three-days' leave from his three-year jail sentence - of which he has served just eight months - between Christmas Day and New Year's Day to visit his family. Mrs Adamson was outraged by the generous terms of his imprisonment.

Why am I not surprised.  From the killing of innocent Brazilians to the murder of an innocent passer by at a disturbance in a London street, THERE SEEMS TO BE ONE RULE FOR THE POLICE AND ANOTHER FOR THE REST OF US!

How maany other guilty fuckers are let out to have a good time during the Festive Season while their victims can only mourn at home ?

Banned, Exactly. He killed a lovely lassie. He was an advanced driver as well, he should have known better. I'm not saying in my mind it's the same as killing someone in cold blood but he doesn't deserve to be let out at Christmas. The mother will never see her child again.

Police and politicians DL. Isn't this the cop who was speeding on his way to deliver a personal birthday card or something?

Rosie, I don't know. That information wasn't included in the article. If he was that just compounds it.

I remember the original story. He'd just passed his police advanced driver course and was showing off. Recruitment standards have really dropped in the police force. They are regularly fined for dealing drugs, faking evidence, allowing domestic violence to go unpunished or monitored properly, snooping on people on their national computers etc. We're helpless I'm afraid because they always say lessons will be learned but they never are. And there's hee haw we can do about it. Just a slow drift to an East Germany like state of existence.

Hopeless, thanks for that. You're right it's become a police state under these Labour bastards. I'd love to wipe that cheesy grin off that fucker Blair's face.
