IS AINSWORTH GROWING A PAIR OF BALLS AT LAST?

HAT TIP TO GIGITS WHEREVER HE IS FOR THE PHOTO

Bob Ainsworth, the defence secretary, has blamed Barack Obama and the United States for the decline in British public support for the war in Afghanistan.

The Defence Secretary's blunt remarks about the US threaten to strain further a transatlantic relationship. Mr Ainsworth took the unprecedented step of publicly criticising the US President and his delays in sending more troops to bolster the mission against the Taliban.  A “period of hiatus” in Washington - and a lack of clear direction - had made it harder for ministers to persuade the British public to go on backing the Afghan mission in the face of a rising death toll, he said.

CAREFUL BOB.  IF YOU DESTROY THE "SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP", YOUR GAFFER WON'T GET TO LICK OBAMA'S BLACK ARSE ANY MORE!

DL check out Dec 1 announcement from Whitehouse and then BAs face as he tries to get his tiny mind round the lines he's forced to trot out agreeing to send more of our lads and lassies out there.

Honestly there is more reality on a magic roundabout!!!

Banned, We'll just all have to stand in line while that twat decides(?) how many of our boys are going to get killed. Our commanders are livid with the yanks for taking decisions that affect them without telling them first.

Rosie, I suppose you're right. But you never know i coulod see them getting back in and he may make a bid for the leadership!

Incoming, with some of the drug taking (and I don't blame them under the circumstances) in the army, it is more like the magic roundabout.

It's a lot easier to blame America and ignore their own shortcomings.
Afghanistan is just a repeat of the Iraq disaster.
This Chilcot inquiry into Iraq will be another whitewash. We know this because Chilcot was on the Butler inquiry into WMD's in Iraq which was a whitewash. "An honest mistake" was the inquiries conclusion over why there were no weapons found.
The rest of the Chilcot team will do what they're told (going by their previous form )

Whitewash, I agree that will be the more obvious conclusion. But, you never know sometimes these fuckers can grow a set of sharp teeth. It depends I think who they call as a witness. The one today who said they knew there was no WMD 2 weeks before hand will have upset the applecart.

DL
I think the main problem is that the official report at the end of the Chilcot inquiry will be what the MSM will focus on ( ie what the government tell them to focus on ).
The fact that most of the report will have been contradicted during the inquiry is neither here nor there since only a handful of people take any notice of these inquiries. We're quite interested but we're definitely in the minority.
It's similar to the CRU leaks in East Anglia. The MSM aren't interested as they're in on the conspiracy so the public are none the wiser ( ask friends and family ). So the MSM will keep going on about manmade global warming as if it is fact. And Obama is going to declare an 85% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050. How much will that wasted exercise cost ?

Whitewash, that's why it's important that our voice continues to be heard. We can't rely on the printed media, they have their own agenda. I urge you to get a blog if you haven't got one under another name and get blogging. It only takes about 5 hours a day! I am beginning to believe that yes, climate change is a load of shite. Evertime we have a flood it's blamed, but we have been having floods for decades and most are no worse than then.

Ansel, I think you're right but sometimes the thought of being out of power emboldens them!
