Eid and Diwali are being celebrated alongside Christmas in a council streetlight display.
Although the Hindu and Muslim events have already passed, the lights are being kept up by Rochdale Council in order to ‘represent the community’.
Bosses are said to be so anxious not to offend other faiths that they are ensuring the display incorporates the other celebrations as well as the Christian festivities.
