ARE POLITICIANS TRULY REPRESENTING US, THEIR ELECTORATE?

When we, the British people, elected the coalition at the last G.E, (although we obviously didn't know we'd get one), did we elect politicians who have the concerns of their electorate at heart or just a bunch of politically motivated, big business arselickers?

While the elite seem to think that the most pressing issues facing Britain today are selling off the Royal Mail, relaxing the Sunday trading laws, taking an ever more threatening line towards Iran, and backing anti-government rebels in Syria, the general public's main concerns are jobs, sky-high utility bills, rip-off train fares and record petrol prices - and not getting Britain involved in any more costly Middle East wars in which their children do the dying.

We in Scotland at least have the benefit that we can vote for the SNP, the only Scottish party, at least the only party not controlled by their London masters, to look after our demands and needs.  What is important to us in Scotland is community, the NHS, education, jobs and living in a fair society where people are rewarded for their hard work, but not to the detriment of society in general as in the case of the bankers and millionaires with off-shore tax havens.

I believe that while now of us like to pay taxes, they are what we pay to live in a just and reasonably humane society, albeit, one where the elite and the London establishment have to much power.  A vote for the SNP, means that we vote for people who have the greater good of Scotland at heart and are more interested in that than pouring money into Zionist led wars in the Middle-East.

NOW'S YOUR TIME TO STRIKE LIKE A COBRA, ALEX!

Now is the time for Alex Salmond to ask Cameron how high he will jump to get the SNP/Plaid support to go with the Ulster Unionists.  Now's the time to extract the best deal possible FOR SCOTLAND AND SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE and leave LABOUR floundering once more as the FEEBLE FORTY who can do nothing to help SCOTLAND because they and the other UNIONIST PARTIES are under the heel of their LONDON MASTERS.

Alex Salmond is a slick operator.  Of that there is little doubt.  But has he been there too long?  Has he now lost the political nous that's kept him at the top of his game for so many years?

After what without doubt has been THE MOST INEFFECTUAL CAMPAIGN in history in which the main party political broadcast appeared to be some fuckwit 'high-fiving' his mates and then walking up a mountain to shout "SCOTLAND" at the top of his voice like some reject from 'Braveheart', most SNP bloggers like myself and  SUBROSA are quite frankly incredulous at the way Salmond has jumped into bed with LABOUR in order to form what he terms a 'PROGRESSIVE ALLIANCE' or some such ridiculous moniker.

If we had wanted to vote LABOUR we would have voted for them.  Most SNP voters fucking hate LABOUR.  I for one, would rather cut off my right arm than vote for them.  And what's more Labour hate the SNP just as much.  What Alex Salmond forgets is that many SNP supporters want Scottish independence not go create some great socialist state, but simply for the reason that we believe we can coax our fellow Scots away from the habit of appearing to be benefit junkies and back to being the progressive people we have been in the past.  I believe in social justice, but you have to wonder sometimes at a people who have been fed shite by Labour for sixty years but still vote them back in every chance they get.

Alex Salmond, should be willing to work with any government who is able to take power.  We all know that the cuts are coming and the SNP's 'more Nats, less cuts' slogan at the election was cringe worthy and was seen through by the electorate.  He should be working to get the best deal he can to further the causes of INDEPENDENCE, that's why he's there.

The Scottish elections in 2011 are now starting to loom and it's time the SNP got their act together for them.  We don't want to let those Labour bastards back in!

IT'S WIN, WIN, WIN FOR THE SNP AND SCOTLAND

After almost 21 hours of politics, (with 5 hours sleep!),  here is how I see the possibilities:

Tories do a deal with the Libdems-The SNP rail against Tory cuts, citing the feeble Labour forty of the Thatcher years and get in with an increased majority in 2011, leading to independence.

Tories go for minority Government- The SNP/Plaid vote will be extracted from them at a price.  Again the SNP will win in 2011 and the English will be glad to see the back of us.

Labour and the Libdems form a coalition- The English will not stand for it and Scottish independence will be hastened down the road.

Anyone else see it differently?

WTF IS WRONG WITH THE SCOTS?

As things stand in Scotland, we might have not bothered going to the polls yesterday.  Sat on our big, fat, lardy, subsidy-junky arses and left it up to to the English to change the Government.  A Labour government led by the most unpopular PM in history.  A country changed from being 13 years ago, a green and pleasant land to one where totalitarianism, State power and celebrity are the norm instead of the traditional avenues to success of hard work and family values and where respect for you neighbours has become an anathema.
Indeed the Labour vote in Scotland has actually gone up!  So what was the reason?  I think the SNP vote was more damaged by not being part of the Leaders' debates that even we, in the SNP thought.  I think Brown's popularity is higher in Scotland than we took account of.  With most of the day to day running of the country now being done by the Scottish Parliament, the electorate don't feel Westminster has the same impact.  The Tories in Scotland haven't had a effective Leader since David McLetchie.  Annabel Goldie, she of the outraged face, is a disaster.

There have been very few times in my life when I have been ashamed to be Scottish.  Today is one of them.  However, if the Tories form the next Government, then I believe Scotland will be independent before the next five years. 

ALL OVER BAR THE SHOUTING!

So that's it.  All over bar the shouting.  What's my feeling?  I would think in 48 hours there will be a wafer thin majority for the TORIES.

I hope over the last few weeks and months I might have persuaded some of you to vote today for the SNP.  At least the ones of you who live in Scotland!  I know some of you would never vote SNP in a month of Sundays for one reason or another.  Some because you don't like Alex Salmond, others because of Europe.  But one thing is certain.  ONLY THE SNP WILL STAND UP FOR SCOTLAND.  Remember the feeble fifty Scottish Labour MPs, in the Thatcher years.  If you believe in INDEPENDENCE FOR SCOTLAND as I do, please do not cast your vote for the LONDON BASED PARTIES.  They're only interested in sticking their SNOUTS IN THE WESTMINSTER TROUGH.  Let's get INDEPENDENCE first and then we'll worry about the rest.  

Anyway, whatever way you cast your vote, I'm sure we'll have some fun in the coming  months. 

HYPOCRITE FOULKES ATTACKS THE SCOTTISH SYSTEM THAT GOT HIM ELECTED!

Renowned whisky-heid, fat bastard, Lord Foulkes has made a speech to the Scottish Parliament criticising the voting system that got him elected, one which was put in place by Labour, thinking it would keep them in power permanently in Scotland and also unelected peers in the Lords, which of course he is one.

The fat prick should remember that when he takes his £100,000+ wages and fulsome expenses.  He is a typical Labour placeman who think they are born to RULE IN SCOTLAND.

Tomorrow we have the chance to show them that is not the case.  PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTE FOR SCOTLAND'S PARTY, THE SNP AND SHOW THESE ARROGANT ARSEHOLES, THE SCOTTISH PEOPLE CAN RISE AGAIN!

WHY NOT VOTING SNP COULD QUITE LITERALLY BE THE DEATH OF YOU!

As most of you who read this PILE OF SHITE are aware I have been in for a reasonably major operation over the last few days.  As I don't like to bore, (aye that'll be fucking right, ED), just let me say that I HAVE BEEN AMAZED at the level of care and the PROFESSIONALISM shown by all the staff in AYR HOSPITAL.
When I was wheeled down to the one of six operating theatres, my overwhelming feeling was how many people were working there just for little old me.  They all seemed to be going about their individual tasks efficiently and with a sense of purpose and I remember thinking just before I went under, FUCK ME, this must be costing a fortune!
Anyway to cut a long story short, after the operation, (which went well BTW), because of a few probs I have with my heart, I was taken into 'HIGH DEPENDENCY'.  There at all times there was one STAFF NURSE for every two patients.  Next door in INTENSIVE CARE it was one on one.  As you progressed up the levels of care it gradually became one in three and so on. 

Anyway to get to the moral of my tale.  If you're ever in Hospital for a serious operation, yes you might think, how much is all this costing?  But, instead you will just be glad that the NHS is there for you and you are being looked after to an extremely high standard.  As they wheel you into the operating theatre, you won't be worrying about how much money is being spent on the ROADS/POLICE/EDUCATION etc., you'll only be thankful that in SCOTLAND we have a SNP GOVERNMENT who has pledged to look after health and stand against THE CUTS OF THE WESTMINSTER PARTIES.  So for your own good, please vote SNP if you can on Thursday, it could quite literally be a LIFE OR DEATH DECISION!

IAN GRAY SAYS BROWN MUST GO!

Labour man Ian Gray says"Brown must go now".  In an outburst he also added "the Westminster party are dragging Scottish Labour down with them.  Darling and Brown don't seem to HAVE A CLUE what they are doing to get us out of the RECESSION THAT THEY CAUSED and we are the last in the G20 to still be in a recession.  The Labour MSPs in Holyrood are PULLING THEIR HAIR OUT in frustration at just how inept LABOUR IN WESTMINSTER seem to be.  Don't even talk to me about BOB AINSWORTH and  the way we are running the operation in AFGHANISTAN.  Their chances of getting elected at the next GE are next to nothing.  At the next HOLYROOD ELECTION and the G.E., I'm definitely voting for Alex Salmond and the SNP.
