BLAIR MUST NOW BE TRIED FOR THE IRAQ WAR AND IF FOUND GUILTY OF TREASON JAILED OR EVEN BETTER HUNG!

Tony Blair misled Parliament by claiming that Britain could legally attack Iraq in the face of United Nations opposition despite being given clear advice to the contrary, new evidence suggests. In evidence to the Iraq inquiry, Lord Goldsmith, who at the time was the Government’s top legal adviser, disclosed that he was “uncomfortable” about statements made by the then Prime Minister in the run up to the 2003 invasion.

Two months before the war began, in a meeting at No 10, the former
Attorney General told Mr Blair that war would not be legal without a fresh mandate from the UN.
In a statement to MPs the following day, however, the Labour prime minister said that there were “circumstances” in which an attack could be valid.
The following month, he gave an interview in which he suggested that war would be legal if another nation had made an “unreasonable” veto at the UN on military action.

A witness statement to the
Chilcot Inquiry into the war, published today, makes clear that Lord Goldsmith considered that this did not accord with the advice he had given Mr Blair.

If Blair misled Parliament that he must be tried and if found guilty, given the correct sentence for his crimes.  Thousands if not millions of people have died in Iraq on both sides of the conflict.  A conflict that was fought for oil.  Pure and simple.  If he American people can live with that,  it's not for us to comment on the innocence or otherwise of Bush.  We should however, deal with this arrogant fucker.  When it comes down to the crunch Tony, you can always depend on a Jew to stick it to you!  And you a good Catholic too!

The bastards did away with the death penalty for treason, before all this kicked off. So we won't see the born-again Fenian dancing the Tyburn jig. Pity, but there it is. We should write to the tax office and ask for a refund because, according to the Nueremberg principles, we share responsibility for the horrible bastard's illegal war by being taxed.

Richard, welcome to the blog. I would gladly pull the handle to send the bastard's body on it's final drop. That crack as his neck snapped would be extremely pleasurable. Of course, if we had a Monarch worth her salt, she would never have signed off the treason bill and the EU could have stuck their HR up their arse.

DL,

Queenie doesn't actually sign any Bills into law.

That job falls to her "favourite cousins". The FC's are four or five Peers who do all the rubber stamping. This is done to "protect" the monarch. She can always say "One did NOT sign anyfuckingthing. It was them wot did it".

Blair shat out a new law for every day he was in the hot seat. Brown managed two to three new laws per day. Queenie is far too busy blowing Phil the Greek to be signing all that paperwork.

If justice prevails (and it won't) Bliar would be grabbing ankle and running for tea for Big Vern for the rest of his natural. Instead, the cunt will walk out grinning. They'll probably make the fucker a lord.

CR.

Ta for the welcome DL. If he was ever convicted a life in prison would be apt. He would grow old wondering what he did wrong, and never know. There is, I believe, an empty space where normal folk have a moral compass, although he can mimic a normal human being's emotions. But his eyes are always cold, even when he smiles. Scary fucker that he is. If he's normal why does he need guards?

Ranters, that's as maybe, but is she not covered by the law of Succession, of 1690 (?), which makes her guilty of signing away the rights of the British Parliament in favour of Europe. At the very least she should have caused a constitutional upset when not committing to Maastricht or later Acts, as was her constitutional duty, IMHO.

Anonymous unofficial, of course he has. It's just being played out for the sheeple to wonder at. I would hope we are more intelligent.

Anonymous official, I think he knows exactly what he has done and Chilcot may have an inkling of it, but it is above his pay grade. We are run by an elite and we kid ourselves on that it is a democracy. It is little better than Tunisia or Haiti for that matter. Want to bet, Papa Doc moves back in to power?
