Nigel brilliant and brave, as he usually is but you posted this on the day that "Godfrey Bloom was thrown out of the chamber of the European Parliament today after being gratuitously rude to the Euro-Socialist leader, Martin Schulz. Irked by Shulz’s complaint that the UK was standing in the way of European integration, the UKIP MEP burst out “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer!” " (Dan Hannan, Telegraph blog)
Careful Nigel, they'll be after you next but they might prefer the more traditional European way, assasination.
Banned,It must be fucking difficult to keep your mouth shut in that place when you see the shite that's going on, if you don't believe in it. I', afraid the other MEPs we we send there apart from UKIP seem to get the 'Westminster'buzz that our MPs do and the power goes to their heads. Mind you as a Scottish Nationalist albeit it one who doesn't believe in Europe, it makes me smile sometimes when the English complain about their lack of independence in Europe and the European Parliament making all the rules and spending their money.
Seen it before. It's an old video and really somewhat hypocritical to say the least. Now there are many who love him, all the UKIP supporters etc as they shout "Good to see old Farage stciking it up at them in the EUSR...." yet where's Nigel? Yup, a Euro MP, with full Euro MP salary. He's now raked in the millions. He's happy to stay there and continue receiving the finance he's receiving, finance far more than any UK politician could hope for and on a salary far higher than a member of the cabinet. And to make things better, he'll be looked upon by the Euro skeptics as their saviour when really I don't think he gives a fuck.
Now were he to leave the EU Parliament and fight against the system from outside then I'd have far more respect for him, but like Brons and Griffin from the BNP, they're all simply raking in the cash, biting the hand that feeds them, when in reality they're really kissing it.
Harbingers, you are in a pernickety mood. This speech was actually made yesterday the 24th. I checked.
I genuinely believe that Farage, if not all in his party is genuinely fighting against the EU. If, as you suggest, he tried to do it from the outside, he would IMO be pissing in the wind. He can fight much more effectively inside the EU parliament and if they then have funds to fight the EU and to pay for campaigning and office costs, that's fine with me. He may of course be a conniving fucker, but only time will tell, at the moment he's the only option we've got, because, call me Dave is going to do, fuck all.
I don't know what's got into you but your prerogative to believe however how you believe I am. I'm far from pernickety.
What I am though is skeptic and very cautious. He's in the system, benefiting from the system. When the shit hits the fan he's out of here with his pickings - End of.
You can't beat the system from within. It has to be obliterated completely and those within are swallowed up like those within a blob.
And more so, you're SNP. Why on earth do you care about the UKIP party? Ok they're anti EU (as they say) but and? It seems to me that Salmond's more that happy to become part of the EU totalitarianship.
Nigel was talking about the recent Irish bailout so it must be a recent video. It's better that he's an MEP as it then affords him the right to tv election broadcasts and seats on Question Time like tonight. The more UKIP MEP's the more coverage they get on the MSM and so the more coverage to the sheeple. You can have millions marching against something but if they're not elected they achieve very little. The million against the Iraq war and the recent student protests will have less effect than one MP votong against the cuts or wars in parliament. It's just the system Better inside pissing out than outside trying to piss in.
Harbingers, I'm told and I see that the SNP is a broad church and I have met many people who aren't too keen on the EU. There are a lot of SNP policies I don't agree with. I believe, however in independence to get the politicians closer to the people and give us a bit of control over them. I would vote UKIP if I was in England because again it's a single issue vote and getting out of the EU comes only a very close second to independence.
What can you do from the outside, unless you're advocating anarchy, which we both know is not going to happen.
I'm only kidding you on BTW. You're starting to reflect your problems too much, FFS, lighten up just a wee bit!
UKIPPERS, I would have to say I agree with you. As I say above, unless we all get out on the streets and smash the police up, nothing will happen. That's not going to happen, this is Britain not France. We might get some students on an away day or some truckers in a go slow, but that's it. We've lost our will to protest.
What can you do from the outside, unless you're advocating anarchy, which we both know is not going to happen.
What can you do from the inside, when those who become involved are simply swallowed up or screened before admittance? As for anarchy, how can you say it will never happen? We're seeing sporadic outbursts of anger all over Europe and of late with the students. Just wait when the immigration continues and the Britain's depression really starts to sink in, with a large portion of the population losing their jobs. Currently the unemployment rate is nearing 3 million (5% of the overall UK population). When that gets higher, which it most certainly will, expect fireworks.
The articles I've written of late, especially IDS' slave labour community benefit schemes for the unemployed is merely the governments understanding that they drastically need to drop the wage and benefits system in order to run the UK. Because our society is getting larger and jobs fewer, we are now moving into 2nd world status and becoming a former Soviet block state. If you've less jobs and a growing population, in order to give them employment you have to reduce wages and this is what's happening. Although the overwhelming majority of people haven't really a clue what's going on, they will one day and when that day comes it won't be nice. They're currently being swayed away from reality by celebrity and MSM propaganda, telling they everything's ok when it most certainly bloody, well isn't!
As for kidding I know you are. I know you're only having a wee banter, however, that said I have only mentioned my relationship breakdown twice (including last article) albeit very sparsely, most certainly not going into detail (as it's no one's business) and my financial situation and living situation in order to highlight the selfishness and ludicrousness of Beyonce Knowles' little, pampered, rich girl's bollox.
Life at the moment for me is tough. I don't fucking harp on about it and all due respect DL, you really have no idea of my current situation because what I've mentioned of my reality is only the tip of the iceberg, again I would never mention because it's no one's business. I wrote what I wrote to highlight how many unemployed and those on a pension have to make do. Many people are just completely oblivious to this thinking we all live a life of Larry, going down to the pub, getting pissed all the time and buying luxury goods. We don't. Many, as you will have read live a very frugal existence.
Lastly I'm tumbling at tremendous speed down the rabbit hole, far infront of you and things are now fitting into place like a series of ten piece jigsaws. What I'm connecting now, you have no idea of because your not there yet, although you will be one day. And trust me, it's not nice when you realise just what's going on.
Harbingers, I know it's tough for you at the moment, I've spoken to you and enjoyed your conversation for a goo time now. You are a very serious person and you've every right to be considering your perception and where you are on the journey and in light of your problems, I was just trying to raise your mood a wee bit. I don't want you sinking into depression. If you were down there or I was up there, I would take you out for a pint, but that's not currently possible.
And I could see anarchy arising in the UK, but I don't think it will be left wing lead more likely to be the right, who haven't been satisfied by the coalition. By the right, I don't mean traditional Tories but more people dis-satisfied with the EU and big business. I see the Express is stirring it up at the moment, which is not surprising seeing the owner is a Jew, but I feel it could backfire on them. People on benefits like yourself are going to get pissed off with everyone telling them how much money they've got.
Been there, seen that, done that.... Already experienced the Kübler-Ross model.
Just before the birth of my son, I saw reality staring me stark in the face. I was unemployed in London due to recovering from a shoulder operation, my now ex was growing farther apart from me, there was nothing I could do as she had turned from Dr Jekyll into Miss Hyde overnight. Some say it's the hormones, well this only got worse. I'd never in my life experienced depression, but this depression that I was moving into was due to grief of knowing just what was to come and also my starting to fall down the rabbit hole. The very fact that I was realising daily the lies upon lies that I'd been brought up to believe as truth really fucked me off. Worse still, friends started shafting me and then so did my ex. My depression was fuck all to do with an imbalance of chemicals in my body. This depression was seeing the depressing society I was living in and watching my world fall apart. This was a rerun of my history and back into the Abyss, a place I never thought I'd be in again. My ex was my soulmate. It was all over and very, very hard to accept. However the depression's over if you must know. That disappeared probably around May of this year, a depression really that lasted on and off for 2 years.
My current frustration is finding like minds, not the deadhead, pig fucking ignorant Dundonians I've the mispleasure of associating with, utterly oblivious to reality. I'm touched as well of your kind offer of a pint. I'm sure we'll have that someday, maybe before I head back down south because Scotland's really a bit grim for me and my friends and family are all down south.
You know it's ironic talking about the Express, because I've just disagreed with Talking Clock's latest post which talks of the Express being the only paper that supported Churchill and the war against Hitler. How convenient?
I'm not pissed off with other people having money DL. I'm by far the most non materialistic person in the world but my anger was at media whore Beyonce, who hasn't a fucking clue. My anger is also at majority completely ignorant of what they're walking blindly into. I've lived in London on a fiver a week so I can survive easily on next to nothing. When reality stared you starkly in the face you wake up. It's just far too many people are fast asleep and the fucking alarm clocks ringing wildly.
Harbingers, I'm glad you're over that episode and you can get on with your life.
The instant fame thing gets on my tits too. I don't watch all that celebrity cum dancing on ice in a jungle shite, but you can't help be aware of it as you trawl through stuff on the net. It's funny how the papers always have some bird with big tits in a bikini just across from the news story, so your eye is drawn. And there have been times, I've taken some comfort there, as S&G would say. I quite like Twatter for getting your point over. Because you can only use 140 characters, you have to be precise, so it sharpens your argument. If you get some receptive minds you can point them in the right direction. I think I've started a few on the journey which me and to a greater extent you are on. Subrosa who's site, I think you visit sometimes is in Dundee, you should hook up with her. She is quite a sharp card.
I'll have a shufty at the talking clock, it's not normally a site I visit.
Yes, it's neuro linguistic programming with the main news story next to a pair of tits and some scantily clad woman. It takes the sting off the article and the Daily Mail is the King when it comes to this - important news on the left and on the right - CELEBRITY. Most of society simply do not realise that they're all part of one big experiment, by their controllers, nothing more than lab rats being given this and that to see what the reaction is.
I like Subrosa but I fell out with her for removing a comment, which you know me is 100% against free speech. It wasn't mine but I defended the commenter. This was before I came to her defense on the Bella Caledonia blog, but nevertheless, you don't really have a leg to stand on if you try and defend liberty when you deny others theirs. But she is a smart cookie, I won't deny that.
Harbingers, I remember NLP about 20 years ago or so when it first came in and it was going to be the next big thing in sales. In fact I might even have some tapes somewhere if my wife hasn't flung them out. But if course the fuckers get hold of it and before you know where you are...
I'm surprised at Surbrosa deleting a comment, that's not like her. I know she's not too keen on swearing, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I don't swear, well much, or her site and the same when I'm answering her comments on mine. She's very pro-forces, so the two of you would probably fall out there at some point. If you remember, we were arguing with the Young Oligarch on Remembrance Sunday and he specifically banned us from commenting on his latest post about the Royal Wedding. Well you can imagine that didn't stop me!

Banned, if he'd have really wanted to make a statement he should have whipped his speedos off!
They've just given themselves a pay rise backdated to July09 so I don't think the game is up for them yet. Von Rumpey gets an extra £13K a year.
Thanks for that DL. Saw the Godfrey Bloom one but somehow missed this.
Hmmm...

Herman the German, I'll tell you one thing, they don't look too happy, pay rise or not!
Granville, my pleasure, I'm glad you were around.
