SO YOU DON'T THINK YOU LIVE IN A POLICE STATE?

This is a parking ticket, I received recently from Strathclyde Police, I would like to draw your attention to the note: A COURT HEARING MEANS A PROSECUTION AND ON CONVICTION, LIABILITY TO A SUBSTANTIAL FINE!

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ALL ABOUT?  What happened to innocent until found guilty.  It seems now, you're GUILTY UNTIL FOUND INNOCENT!
You thought you didn't live in a POLICE STATE, well now you know better!

We've been living in a police state for a long time DL. habeous corpus and innocent until proven guilty went out ages ago.
We live under civil law, law of profit and yet you can only be punished by this law system if you accept to live under it.

You need to do some research in lawful rebellion, but more importantly freeman on the land. Have a chat with the Cap'n on this and look up some Rob Meynard on YouTube. Try dealing with driving fines and parking tickets and see what you come up with.

I don't have a car but there's a huge movement currently attacking this illegal, criminal, cash grabbing activity by the authorities.

I've had parking tickets which I paid, because - well - I had parked badly. But they were issued with the same corrupt overtones. I'm not sure if this smells of blackmail or bribery, but if we were told that - say - the police ticketed cars in India and 'let them off' by paying a small fee, we'd hoot and tut and call it corruption. But here, it's an acceptable 'persuasion'.
Don't get me wrong, I hate people who park their 4x4 on the pavement and 'rich people' who get off an £80 fine with a £100/hr lawyer, but our police (and their agents) should be above the casual intimidation you outline.

Have a look at this site, it's saved me a few quid -

But I think you're screwed mate, to be honest.

It says it's a 'request', good luck though.
I'm told that looking for technical breaches of lines and signage is often the best first approach

Harbingers. I'll probably just end up paying the fucking thing, I've already sent them a letter explaining the parking offence, but they turned that down.

It just bugs me to get threatened by these cunts, as if you're guilty until proved innocent.

Mekkers, as it happened, I had my mother in law with me and she's got a disabled pass. I wasn't aware that I was parking in a loading zone anyway it was a Monday afternoon and there was no one loading! Bastards.

Rab No I am screwed. I've looked at that site before and to be fair to them it mostly deals with speeding and more serious offences, but I will be looking at the road markings before I pay the fuckers.

Anonymous, I'm going to have a look at that first before I pay the bastards anything. Thanks.

What it means DL is that cough up and you will get off relativley lightly, dare to challenge "them" in Court they will fine you to the max (as per my recent post about PCSOs that you kindly commented upon).

In the early hours of this Sunday morning I was at a set of traffic lights that I have known for twenty years. Although I was on the main road (ie they should be green by default) they remained at red for ages and were obviously fucked. I did the reverse a bit to try to re-trigger the under-road sensor to no avail (no, not the flashing headlights which hasn't worked for years though some cunts still do it).
Bollox, no other traffic anywhere, I went through them___Bingo, Headlights and Blue Lights out of fucking nowhere, cop pulls me over.

I do all the right things, pull over asap, wind down the window, turn the radio off and listen politely to the Officer (who had clearly been hiding, knowing the lights to be faulty but not saying so).
He's threatening me with Three Points (which I can afford since my license is clean) and lecturing me about patience and Red Lights applying at night all of which I politely agree with but carefully explain my decision to proceed nevertheless and make it plain to him that I know that going through Red Lights is NOT an "absolute offense".

He lets me off with 'words of advice' before I need to say "See you in court because I know where to obtain the faulty lights records from Highways".

Instead "Thank you Officer, goodnight" as he snuck off back into hiding to await the next unwary cunt and thus achieve his booking target.

Banned, well done. It just shows you when you know your ground, these fuckers back off until they can get someone who can't. I got another correspondence from the Police today giving me until the 28/11 to pay up or else. I will be checking up on the regulations and if they were being followed, because the bastards have now got on my tits. I have also e-mailed my MSP complaining about the wording above and as I know him, I expect a decent response. That is the value of small government! That is one of the reasons I favour independence.

Anons advice is sound, go and check the signage, see if the yellow line fails to have an end indicator, should be "¬" rather than simply "-". If the line is worn or even covered in muck and leaves, photograph it.

Banned, I will be. I'll let you know how I get on!
