The journalist taken on to
Along with Michael Crow, the leader in Scotland, 'Matron' Goldie, should also get the chop. She is fucking hopeless. There are a large number of people in Scotland who are pro-independence but are also anti the SNP's socialist, pro-European policies. These people do not have a voice in Scotland and the Tories would be their natural choice.
The Scottish Tories have to stand on their own two feet and become independent of the English party an drop the 'Unionist' part of their name, which even many Tories think, wrongly, refers to the 'Union' between Scotland and England, when in reality it refers to the Northern Irish. That is the first step towards the Tories revival in Scotland, particularly with the Holyrood elections a year away.

Twat was on a hiding to nothing, dunno why he bothered.
Banned, that's one way at looking at it. But less than 60 years ago the people of Scotland voted Tory. What's changed? Obviously a lot, but there still is good support there if they are wise enough to see it.
No real Scot would ever vote Tory. The party of the wealthy and the priviledged. There would be no NHS or minimum wage or devolution if the Tories ruled without a break. Labour are dire but they allow progressive policies to sneak through before their love of spending destroys them for another 10 years or so.
Tories mean the destruction of coal mines, steel industries, car industries, the selling off of our utilities like gas and leckie to France, privatisation of the post office, prolonging the Afghan nightmare, Trident spending, more windmills and wastage on the global warming scam, more integration into the EU etc........
Tory Badboy, sorry I don't agree. I despair of the people of Scotland who continue to vote for Labour, election after election and their lot never changes. There is despair from one generation to another as we become dependency junkies. This is after all the country that spawned people like Logie-Baird, Stevenson, Robert Adam and Lister. Is this what we have become? The country of the Scheme? Fuck me!
Logie-Baird, Stevenson, Robert Adam and Lister all flourished while the working class starved or died from disease. Not sure why they are relevant.
The Tories opposed devolution, the minimum wage and the setting up of the NHS. These policies wouldn't have seen the light of day without Labour.
Tory Totty, agreed devolution and the NHS are worthwhile but I have yet to be convinced by the minimum wage. The problem with a minimum wage is that like with the footballers' maximum wage some years ago, that becomes the norm. Many people who should be getting more than the minumum wage are drawn into the 'it's a minimum wage job' trap.
