Braw photies Mr Lochnagar, straight fae anither world. Takes ye back tho, eh? Paddlin' at Millport, watchin' the pistons oan the steamers like they were some enormous beast, pure terrifyin' they were.

Mind it rained a lot tae. It wis miserable then. There's nuthin' in Millport aside fae the beach.

Sophia, yes hen, but you only remember the good days. I would have been about 5 when that was made and I remember being at Largs or just outside it and a car had a left the road and ended up on the rocks. It was a real old fashioned Humber tye car in my memory, but I may have been wrong. I'm not one for talking about the 'good old days', because in general they weren't, but also in some ways when you had less, your pleasures were simpler but not any worse for that reason.

A new direction for you DL, video nostalgia? Very welcome too but I don't have time to do the films justice right now but will be back (looking forward to the Gingham Frocks).

Banned, I'm fond of a wee bit of nostalgia. Funnily enough, the older I get, the more nostalgic I get! I must be an old get, getten.
