LABOUR'S LAST LEGACY? DARLING HANDS £13BILLION TO THE EU!

Alistair Darling has caved in to a demand that British taxpayers underwrite at least £13 billion of debt held by other European governments as finance ministers met to discuss an even bigger bail-out for the euro.

The Chancellor, representing Britain until a new government is formed, was forced to participate in a £95billion "stabilisation mechanism" aimed helping European Union countries that face a debt crisis.  The decision followed a crisis meeting in Brussels to discuss the financial turmoil that has raised doubts about the future of the euro.  Mr Darling had no choice but to surrender because the decision was taken under a Lisbon Treaty "exceptional occurrences" clause that stripped Britain of its veto.

Aye thanks, you eye-brow dyeing, speccy twat.  I thought we weren't in the EURO?  Cameron's first job, should be to tell the EU to FUCK OFF and tell them that we are repealing the Lisbon Treaty and if the LIBTHINGIES don't like it, then they can FUCK OFF TOO!

Good advice - let's hope they're listening.

Cameron and Clegg are both firm believers in the EU so won't be doing anything about this mad situation.
Basically we bail out the euro although we're not part of the euro. And we can't be bailed out ourselves because ....we're not part of the euro.
The only chance of getting out of this nightmare scenario is a referendum on the EU ( IN or OUT ). The only chance of that happening is with electoral reform with PR and a subsequent influx of UKIP and other skeptic MPs' into parliament.

UKIPPERS, you're right, but do you see it happening. I was disappointed in the UKIP vote at the election. They'll have to get Farage back in charge when he recovers, that Lord Pearson or whatever he's called is hopeless.

DL. UKIP managed to fulfill it's aim. Stop the Tories getting a majority and plunging us deeper into the EU. The coalition opens up the possibility of PR where UKIPs' 500,000 votes would lead to a decent number of MPs' in the future and negotiating powers to get a referendum on the EU.
Your SNP would get about a dozen MPs' under PR and would be able to negotiate a referendum on independence.
It could all have been so different for Cast Iron if he hadn't dropped his promise of a vote on the Lisbon Treaty. He's brought this debacle on himself with Tories switching to UKIP in disgust. The end result will be worse for the Tories. Having to settle for a coalition government where referendums will be the price to pay for his cowardice.

An American commented on my site that they regard UKplc as 'too big to fail' so lets just carry on with the fucking spendathon, give some away to Greece even, the Yanks will always bail us out (LOL).

The UK to big to fail Banned?

Well there's an oxymoron for you, not that that surprises me coming from a Yank.

Listen shyster(the Yank), when you have the bewildered herd taking all the pain and priming the magic fountains pumps, then those that take all the gain are by definition to big to fail.

Are you naive enough to think the Onassis set in Greece are worried by the debt crises and the effect it has on their assets. If so, you'll be pleased to learn they will be well covered for both asset values and liquidity and probably gain through increased investment income.

Salaries, pensions, benefits and employment right are not part of their lexicon(unless is to repeal them). These are for the people who, having never really had, have now to pick up the tab and have less.

UKIPPERS, you've got it in one. Cameron ill rue the day he said no to a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, although I'm not sure legally he could hold one. Still he'll be sen as a lame duck leader one day and I predict, (you heard it here first), he won't last long and a more anti European Leader will take charge.

Banned, unfortunately the Yanks couldn't bail themselves out and they will fail big time, any time soon. Their Economy is unsustainable. Get your money into gold not on paper but in metal like kruggerands, you heard it here first.

Ragged erse, those types like Onnassis never fail. The Rothschilds et al will be loving all this currence speculation, they'll be making billions. As you say us poor mugs take the hit every time.
