IN CASE YOU FORGET TOMORROW WHEN YOU CAST YOUR VOTE

IN CASE YOU FORGET TOMORROW AND ARE THINKING OF VOTING LABOUR, THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE GIVEN US IN THIRTEEN YEARS;

  • Ballot Boxes are interfered with
  • Voting registers go missing
  • The Police can kill innocent people and get away with it
  • The state can kill people and get away with it
  • You can be put in prison for 42 days on pure suspicion
  • You can be put in prison indefinitely on the word of a politician
  • The State can torture people

  • You may not photograph the Police
  • The media is controlled by the State
  • You do not have the right to protest peacefully
  • Curfews exist for entire communities
  • Your travel movements are logged and monitored
  • Who you vote for is logged and monitored
  • Your shopping habits are studied and logged by the State
  • Your emails and telephone conversations are recorded by the State
  • Your passport can be withdrawn at the whim of the State
  • Government agencies can use lie detector tests on you.
  • £22,500 of debt for every child born in Britain
  • 111 tax rises from a government that promised no tax rises at all
  • The longest national tax code in the world
  • 100,000 million pounds drained from British pension funds
  • Gun crime up 57%
  • Violent crime up 70%
  • The highest proportion of children living in workless households anywhere in Europe
  • The number of pensioners living in poverty up by 100,000
  • The lowest level of social mobility in the developed world
  • The only G7 country with no growth this year
  • One in six young people neither earning nor learning
  • 5 million people on out-of-work benefits
  • Missing the target of halving child poverty...
  • Child poverty rising in each of the last three years instead
  • Cancer survival rates among the worst in Europe
  • Hospital-acquired infections killing nearly three times as many people as are killed on the roads
  • Falling from 4th to 13th in the world competitiveness league
  • Falling from 8th to 24th in the world education rankings in maths
  • Falling from 7th to 17th in the rankings in literacy
  • The police spending more time on paperwork than on the beat
  • Fatal stabbings at an all-time high
  • Prisoners released without serving their sentences
  • Foreign prisoners released and never deported
  • 7 million people without an NHS dentist
  • Small business taxes going up
  • Business taxes raised from among the lowest to among the highest in Europe
  • Tax rises for working people set for after the election
  • The 10p tax rate abolished
  • The ludicrous promise to have ended boom and bust
  • Our gold reserves sold for a quarter of their worth
  • Our armed forces overstretched and under-supplied
  • Profitable post offices closed against their will
  • One of the highest rates of family breakdown in Europe
  • The ‘Golden Rule’ on borrowing abandoned because it didn’t fit
  • Police inspectors in 10 Downing Street
  • Dossiers that were dodgy
  • Mandelson resigning the first time
  • Mandelson resigning the second time
  • Mandelson coming back for a third time
  • Bad news buried
  • Personal details lost
  • An election bottled
  • A referendum denied.
  • New Labour. Stamping on the faces of the many, not just the few. Forever.
Some of these only apply to my English and Welsh friends, at least in Scotland we have the SNP.

Thanks DL, you really know how to cheer someone up late at night.

They don't get me on this one though "Your shopping habits are studied and logged by the State", cash only, me.

Also:

- Prison Sentences halved after Prisoners arrive at Prison (Scotland)
- Police degraded to mere 'Community Wardens' with reduced powers to arrest, and even after arrest the PF will throw out the case as offenders will not be jailed in a high proportion of the time (Scotland)
- Introduction of ASBO's, which are license for offenders to continue their crime sprees or intimidation within communities
- Introduction of drug substitutes to allow users to continue their self imposed habits whilst claiming high amounts of Welfare in the form of Invalidity Benefit, instead of facing the issue head on and irradicating drug misue in the UK
- Introduction of Environmental Wardens to increase Local Government Revenues, opposed to further increasing Policing Budgets
- Destruction of the Prosecution System, to an extent where all crime pays

One of the worse thing I have seen, whilst I worked for the SPS, was during Bank Holidays. Anyone with an Interim Diet Warrant (7 Days in Custody) would turn themselves in late on Thursday night, why?

Well, firstly, the Warrant is halved to 3.5 days, then as the following Monday is a Bank Holiday, the offender cannot be released on the Monday.

So, by turning him/herself in late on the Thursday Evening, he/she would be released on the Friday Morning! Effectively, an 8 hours sentence, or in plain English - 1 night Bed & Breakfast, in return for 7 Days for committing a crime!

There is no real Criminal Justice System in the UK anymore!

Not quite accurate. Cameras at checkouts now have facial recognition to check for fraud. They can be matched to the facial recognition at your cashpoint or inside your bank when you get the cash out. Easy to check your till receipt against your face /name and see what you're buying.
Now if you wore a burqua.....

Banned, as I know you regularly wear a balaclava and a hoodie when you go out shopping, spending cash, you should be ok. You won't get into many shops BTW, but you can always buy an ice cream from that nice Mr Whippy!

DieKaisers, welcome. An admirable first contribution to the conversation on this blog. Thanks. Yes, the previous Libab pact we had in Scotland has a lot to answer for. Not only the justice system but he lucrative contracts they gave in the Health Service, which are now costing us dear. Not to mention the PPI contracts which will cost us £billions. Hopless bastards!

Boabs, I think Banned wearing a hoodie and a balaclava is enough without the burqua!

Rab, Rab, Rab. First we support the SNP, get our own country back and then we decide what sort of politics we want to shape a future independent country.

Aye, fair point DL.

Rab, does that mean you're a convert!

Banned, why just not cover your face with bandages like the 'invisible man'?
