CAMERON AND MERKEL IN EURO LOVE TIFF! UP YOURS VAN ROMPUEY!

On his first foreign trip, the Prime Minister meets the German Chancellor for talks that diplomats have suggested will be “chilly or even frosty”.
Cameron will warn Merkel that he has promised Britons a referendum on a new Treaty.
Chancellor Merkel has insisted that all European countries must give up sovereignty to give the EU new economic powers to prevent another Greek and euro zone crisis.  She has previously expressed anger at Mr Cameron, before he became Britain’s leader, over his opposition to the Lisbon Treaty.

Cameron must not cede any more powers to Europe without a new treaty and a referendum.  If the referendum vote is strongly against a new treaty, then HE MUST HAVE A REFERENDUM ON OUR CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP OF THE EU!

It seems, DL, that he told her that Britain will not be participating in the bailout of the Euro, something that Osborne should have done a few days ago but didn't although he had the opportunity to do so.

That's a good start from Cameron but I still don't trust him as far as I could throw Eric Pickles.... he's just another Lefty in Tory clothes.

Ha ha. Hopefully your tongue was firmly in your cheek there DL when quoting cast iron Dave.

I have a feeling that your man quietly assured Frau Merkel that nothing he said in public was to be taken at face value and that she could rest assured he was as keen on the sovietisation of Europe as any other of the political class.

The new article 43 'enhanced cooperation' makes the signing of a new treaty redundant anyway...

"The Treaty of Nice facilitates the establishment of enhanced cooperation: the right of veto which the Member States enjoyed over the establishment of enhanced cooperation has disappeared (except in the field of foreign policy), the number of Member States required for launching the procedure has changed from the majority to the fixed number of eight "

So they can already do what they like without requiring the full backing of all member states. Only need 8 now.

UKIPPERS, I was tweeting away this afternoon whilst my body took some sun, (yes even in Scotland you cheeky bastard), and I came across the following tweet which said "what costs nothing and achieves nothing-joining UKIP"! Well I immediately sprung to your defence but I was over-powered.

I was being tongue in cheek but also hoping that I was wrong and then I remembered that Cameron comes from an old banking family, NWO and all that stuff. Yss it looks like the old Lisbon treaty kinda fucks us right up.

Tcheuchter, welcome back. Yes I expect there were two different agendas, but you never know. At least we can live in hope and there was certainly no hope with Brown.

Thanks for your defence DL !
You should have reminded folk that UKIP stopped cast iron from getting an outright majority ( 22 seats where our vote was larger than the Tory defeat)
We brought you the Cleggeron brokeback mountain love in with the new voting system, scrapped ID cards etc etc....
For better or worse.

Just a negotiating ploy, she knows we would vote No but he knows he wouldn't give us Our Referendum in the first place, the cunt.

UKIPPERS, whilst from your point of view, it is probably nict to be in the position to say to Cameron, "we told you what would happen if there was no referendum", I'm not sure bring in the coalition is anything to boast about. The Tories would have got rid of ID cards etc. anyway but probably not changed the voting system but many Tories are against that because they seem to think it will hand Labour an advantage, which I however don't understand. Anyway the proposed system is not PR and will make fuck all difference. The Libthingies are being taken for a ride.

Banned, well only time will tell, my friend.

Well Cameron will rue the day he ever reneged on his cast iron guarantee of an eu referendum. He gave up the chance of ever having an outright majority.
I'm not sure what the Tories would have done if they had got power. They are happy to renege when not in power so who knows. At least with the coalition there are 2 party pressures on Dave to scrap our police state society.

UKIPPERS The scrapping of our police state would do for starters, but unfortunately for us in Scotland we still seem to be in the grip of some sort of Socailist vice, but soon I am sure we will spring free.
