BLIZZARDS ON THE WAY!

The country will enjoy mild spring weather this weekend as the big chill is finally banished, according to the Met Office.

Right!  Watch out for Blizzards.  There will be a possible hurricane with snow drifts up to 18 feet.  Frogs will drop from the sky.  The river Thames will be frozen for the first time for 150 years and an ice-skating gala will be held.  DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!

The Met Office have admitted their crapness by abandoning Long Term Forcasts so I will take this prediction with a pinch of salt and keep my hat and coat in the boot until at least the end of May.

I was about to say what banned has already said but he's done it more eloquently. :(

Anyway, it's been a beautiful week here for March so I'm looking forward to a wet and windy summer - again.

Banned, my father always used to say "cast nae a clout til June is oot", meaning that you kept your 'knitted' vest on until the end of June when he changed to his 'string' one. So much for 'climate change'!

Rosie, did you know that Arbroath was the driest place in Scotland? Believe me, you don't know the meaning of rain until you live in Ayrshire. The funny thing is that we have ahad only one day of serious rain since mid-December. If it had been Summer it would have been a record breaker. It only means we'll get the rain in Summer!
