SPEAKER WANTS 'SAFE' SEAT WHERE HE CAN'T BE CHALLENGED!!!

Speaker John Bercow wants to switch to a new seat with only MPs as his ‘constituents’ so he can avoid a humiliating defeat by former UKIP leader Nigel Farage at the next General Election.

It would mean abandoning his Buckingham seat for the newly created one called St Stephen’s – the name of the old House of Commons chapel – where, effectively, it would be impossible to challenge him.

He put forward the idea amid speculation that he may struggle to defeat Mr Farage, who stepped down as UKIP leader to take on Mr Bercow in defiance of the custom where the Commons Speaker is not challenged by the main parties.

I TOLD YOU WHEN HE WAS ELECTED HE WAS A WEASLIE, WEE BASTARD!

You're right about Bercow , DL .

You're mistaken , however , about the custom of not standing against the Speaker .
Only the Conservative Party observes this . All other parties regularly stand against the Speaker.

'Mon UKIP !

As a Conservative, I aim to go and deliver a few leaflets for UKIP in Buckingham. I don’t particularly like Nigel Farage, but I loathe Bercunt even more! Nobody can accuse me of campaigning against my own party, Because Bercunt is no Tory. He’s just a Commie loving whore shagger!

The Lib Dems didn't stand against Speaker Martin in Glasgow NE.
Socialist Labour did though (in 2005) which confused 4,000 of the sheeple who didn't realise 'Speaker Martin ' was actually the Labour MP who they were supposed to vote for.
Ths was corrected in 2009 which may explain the massive drop of 4,000 votes for Socialist Labour.( -95% swing)

Punter, I saw that. I didn't bother blogging about it because some others had. It will come as a bit of a shock to Labour, well that's pish, surely they know the score about those votes, don't they?

He'll be out after the election no matter what scam he tries to pull, mate, the Tories fucking hate him with a passion!

Can Farage change over though? I doubt it so they'll have to find another strong UKIP candidate.

Not learned to do links yet LD? lol

Spidey, That will depend on the tories winning a majority and I keep on telling you (plural), don't bet on it. Well do bet on it get 8/1 for labour and lay them nearer the election when they go to 2/1. A nice 6/1 your money!
