IS BLAIR ONE CAN SHORT OF A SIX-PACK?

Tony Blair would still have led the country to war in Iraq even if he had known that it had no weapons of mass destruction.

The former Prime Minister has confessed that he would have had to use different arguments to justify toppling Saddam Hussein. But he would still have taken steps to remove the Iraqi dictator from power.  He also put the decision to go to war in Iraq in the context of a wider battle over Islam. He said: “I happen to think that there is a major struggle going on all over the world, really, which is about Islam and what is happening within Islam.” He said that this struggle had a “long way to go”.

We know that BLAIR converted to Catholicism when he resigned as PM and he is known to be a student of the CRUSADES and the early Christian struggle against the Moors.  Do you think it is at all possible that he possibly confused in his own mind, SADDAM and SALADDIN?

There could have been many reasons to topple the Iraqi Dictator, not least because he was murdering his own people, but surely not because he was championing ISLAM?

DL,

Good article, he really is a spineless twat.

The shame of serving in HM Forces on his watch, I watched him courting the minorities in a Liebore love in - in the desert, stage managed and trying to keep the faithful.

Look at the fookin mess him and Broon have made, I predict a riot with someone's head on the end of a very long pike....

Daisy, that would be worth seeing. They could maybe make some reality TV show out of it, get Cowell involved. You could phone in votes for whose head you wanted on the pole.
