BURGLAR GETS SENTENCE REDUCED BECAUSE VICTIM INJURED HIM TRYING TO APPREHEND HIM

A professional burglar who said being attacked by a victim was an 'occupational hazard' had his prison sentence cut by appeal judges - because of the injuries he received when being caught.  Nicholas Grant Dallas Edwards, 57, was left moderately brain damaged after his furious victim, Andre Mergalhao, confronted him outside his Bournemouth home.

In August, the 57-year-old drug addict, who had been carrying a knife during the burglary, was jailed for five years and four months at Bournemouth Crown Court after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary.

But today, after hearing of the serious injuries he suffered, two judges at the Court of Appeal, Mrs Justice Rafferty and Mr Justice Hedley, cut his prison term to four-and-a-half years.

It's a good job the VICTIM didn't kick the fucker up the arse as well, or he might have had to serve the sentence instead of the BURGLAR!
