I'd like to give you for your perusal a piece of text I lifted from the article in the LONDON EVENING STANDARD by DAVID COHEN, (an interesting choice of journalist?), WHEN BONNIE GREER MET NICK GRIFFIN, sorry I don't know how to link it.
Why was she not more strident in her attacks on him? "I didn't need to, because others like Jack Straw waded in so heavily. I felt my job was to subtly lampoon him, toy with him, expose the idiocy of his ideas.
"I didn't want to come across as the angry, screaming black woman pointing my finger and hollering because that's how people like Griffin and his supporters view black women. I saw us as a team - it wasn't an ego thing, wasn't as if I had to take him down all on my own."
There was a touching moment, she says, just before they started recording when Sayeda Warsi ran over to her and said: "Are you okay sitting next to Griffin?" "I said: 'I'm from Chicago, I'm not scared of this guy!' And we just hugged spontaneously. We were like two prize-fighters going into the ring to do battle."

TELLS YOU A LOT ABOUT THE MINDSET OF THE PANEL!

Thanks anonymous.
I'm still disgusted by the way the rest of the panel conducted themselves. They behaved like thugs really, desperate to spit and shout and read from their little despotic questions.
Nearly as bad as Griffin themselves - in fact his conduct could have been translated as slightly better than the others.
Were the sisters worried that Nick was going to smash their heads in with a burning crusifix live on TV ?
Dick, re links, I cannot post the HTML script for linking because it would appear here as dead link
I've had a little look around and this is the simplest tutorial that I can find.
Just remember, it is piss easy, tutorialists complicate it up to make themselves look clever. Copy this then click here.
Link text
Go to the heading " An HTML Link " ( ignore everything else on that page )
copy'n'paste the stuff in the box " link syntax " onto Windows Notepad and save it in your documents. Then fuck that page off.
Locate your saved notepad document, copy'n'paste the href="url stuff into the Blog Comments page
delete the letters URL so the two "" appear, copy the URL of the page or item you wish to link in between the two ""
delete the words 'Link Text' leaving the two chevron thingeys >< then add the title of your link in between them >Gordon is a Moron<
Hey presto
Gordon is a moron
hope that helps.
Rosie, it had the appearance of a shwtrial and Griffin certainly got the sympathy vote. It would have been better if they had kept off immigration entirely as they thought this was the subject in which he was weakest but in fact it's the one area that would encourage potential voters to support him. As for Greer going on about the ice age, what the fuck was she on? Griffin was right, the luvvies would be hoprrified if we denied the Maoris or the Red Indians their place in history.
Thanks Banned for the info.
Ansel, read the rest of the article it's in the Daily Mail, it's a fucking laugh. You'll get it if you click on the Cack Straw link (no typo).
Thanks DL.I will do that.
