**SPORT** BROWN NO NEARER TO ENGLISH CALL-UP

GORDON BROWN'S prospects of an England recall for next week's friendly against the Netherlands still look remote despite his four goals on COWDENBEATH'S tour of south-east AYRSHIRE last month.
The 59-year-old will be watched by one member of the Fabio Capello team in COWDEN'S game against FORFAR tomorrow but the general consensus within the Capello camp is that friendly match goals against inferior opposition do not constitute the basis for a recall. BROWN'S chief rival for a spot as PETER MANDELSON'S understudy, HARRIET HARMAN, has also looked impressive in pre-season AS SHE SWAPPED SHIRTS WITH THE OPPOSITION PLAYERS.

Nobody however was left in the showers to pick up the soap as they all left sharpish, before PETER MANDELSON ARRIVED.

I'm not sure which one horrifies me more , DL - Mandy in the showers or Harriet topless .

You've definitely taken this too far .
