When the students attacked Charles and Horsefaces' car, how close were they to getting shot?
I understand the car, lost the protection of the outriders and police escort as they police stupidly sent them on a route straight into the student protesters. Now I for one, wouldn't have minded seeing the two old tarts getting a good going over. The Queen presides over the British Establishment, which the more you look into is, holding back masses of the population, the sheeple, as they have been called. Never minding, the fact that the establishment, the politicians, the journalists and believe it or not, 60% of new British rock bands, went to Oxbridge, the places won by the 'wrong sort' of students are practically nil. Students today got a valuable lesson that they should remember for many years to come. Fuck, I sound like an anarchist!
The only protection the Royals had was from a detective in the car with them. Now, he would have undoubtedly been armed. How close was he to pulling his weapon and firing on the Prince's attackers? Would a couple of students with gunshot wounds, get the people of this country onto the streets?
Personally, I doubt it. We'll carry on kidding ourselves that we live in a democracy that allows politicians to lie and cheat their expenses and largely get off with it, to the extent that it is still happening.
