Not sure if it's related but 20 of the 27 have coalition governments.

What ARE the people trying to tell their governments?

CR.

Don't wish to be picky but it's 'which EU countries are in recession'.

As for Spain reaching the dizzying heights of 25% 'unemployed', that is just 25% of the lazy fuckers not paying tax; a figure their Government connives at since it means more free dosh from the filthy and corrupt EfuckingU.

Still no recession around here, unemployment stands at a measly 3% with job adverts all over the place and I remain convinced that it's all just another scare story to convince us how much the Government loves us and how much we need them.

Ranters, it seems to me that the only countries doing well are the ones that were formally dominated by Russia, like Latvia. Now I don't know if that was because they were shite in the first place or what?

Banned, I due to my intended relocation to Spain, am a wee bit defensive of that fine country. I don't disagree there is plenty of 'cash' deals being done, but the same applies here. It's perhapps not as endemic as there, but I can't remember the last time I got a receipt for anything as I always wait until they tell me the price and the n ask the cash question.

I'll tell you one thing though. If there was 50% youth un-employement here as there is supposed to be there, you wouldn't be able to move for hoodies hanging about the shops. It doesn't happen there.
