OLYMPIC SWIMING EVENTS CANCELLED DUE TO HOSEPEIPE BAN!

All Olympic water events are to be cancelled in July, due to the Hosepipe ban, Health and Safety officials from Thames Water have said.

In an astonishing case a pensioner from Tooting has brought a case to the High Court claiming that if she can't water her roses then the Olympics shouldn't be able to fill swimming pools full of water.

The Government is expected to take the case to the ECHR in Strasbourg.

She's definitely got a point, DL, especially taking account of those, (myself included), who won't be watching the games and those Londoners who will actually be fucking right off out of the Country to avoid the bastard things!

Spidey, a complete wast of money and more white elephants are being built than I've had hot dinners, never mind the money that charity are losing from the Lottery fund.

Paddy, welcome. Aye your right. The outside ones never win anyway, but it might give someone a sore head in the diving pool.
