BOY GEORGE GOES GUNNING FOR MY PRIVATE JET!

FROM AN ORIGINAL IDEA BY 'WEE WENDY'.  YES, YOU!

George Osborne will announce a £1billion a year crackdown on tax avoidance, (I hope he's starting with his own),  by high earners and big business in tomorrow's Budget.  The Chancellor is expected to unveil a series of measures as official figures show that a record £42billion in tax a year has gone uncollected.  In one move to target the super-rich, he will announce a new duty on private jets, which currently fly untaxed.  The 'Lear Jet levy' will mean that more than 67,000 flights a year in private planes will be hit.  For commercial air passengers, air passenger duty usually costs around £12 for short haul journeys and up to £110 for long haul. But more than 67,000 flights in private jets currently avoid paying any tax at all last year.

I say, Old Chappie, what the fuckers is going on here?  What is this codswallop, Georgie?  Are you seriously trying to tell me, that my familly and I, have to pay to use our own private jet to fly down to Tropers for the weekend?  I mean I don't mind chipping in a tenner for the kids' nanny or even that servant chap, as long as you don't expect me to pay for Jeeves, the butler.  He's indispensable, don't you know?  And can you tell me how, Cynthia can cope without her retinue of servants, life coach and of course that teenage chap who has brought her tennis game on so well over the last few months?  She's practically a new woman since he worked on her stroke.

The usual SMOKE AND MIRRORS, my friends.
At least with Labour, you knew you were getting conned!

An alternative headline could be:

"BOY GEORGE GOES GURNING FOR MY PRIVATE JET!"

Publes, you can bet on one thing, it won't affect his or Camerons' family wealth!

Does this include the CIA's rendition flights?

Anonymous, nice one, I'll ask George the next time we're having drinks in the treasury. Mind you the Yanks won't pay their London parking fines never mind rendition fees!
