BRITISH MINISTER SUGGESTS WE CANCEL AIRCRAFT CARRIERS TO PAY FOR AFRICAN CHILDRENS' EDUCATION!

Two thirds of children in Africa not currently in primary school could be educated for the cost of two new aircraft carriers for the Royal Navy, Britain’s development secretary has suggested.
Andrew Mitchell said that Britain would continue to fund and support the campaign for universal primary education around the world but that it could not increase its spending without saving elsewhere.
Mr Mitchell was speaking at a summit of world leaders hosted by South Africa’s president Jacob Zuma ahead of the World Cup final. Western donors have pledged to spend £7.3 billion a year to get 32 million African children into primary education.

I think that if we are going to cancel the AIRCRAFT CARRIERS, it should be for operational reasons and not to educate some FUCKING AFRICAN CHILDREN, who probably could be in education by this time if their COUNTRY'S LEADERS stop nicking the aid money that is sent from western democracies. According to this DICKHEAD Britain funds the education of 5 million children around the world and 4.8 million in this country! Apart from that if we can cancel the carriers, THE MONEY SHOULD MAYBE BE USED TO PAY OFF OUR FUCKING DEBTS FIRST, YOU PRICK!

Oh! the language! Ah aften hae tae cover ma ears when ah'm readin yer blog Mr Lochnagar, ma hair's curly enough awready wi'oot thae words twistin it further. Still, it's aye guid tae keep up wi novel discourse...

Ah'm no jist bein controversial fer the sake o' it, but ah dinnae see owt wrang wi feedin dressin an' learnin African bairns. It's the countries that help them that they'll turn tae whan they graw up an' want tae buy things. That's the justification fer ID onyroads. As far as aircraft cairriers go, they're yesterdays toys, we shuid be spendin oor money oan buildin a Death Star.

Rosie, the DFID is a disgrace and I think we should be looking after our own in these troubled times. I wouldn't mind if most of the money wasn't syphoned off for Swiss bank accounts.

Banned, with today's technology it would be possible to send your sprouts to some starving kids in Africa and they would arrive in peak condition. I know this because those Kenyan bastards send us asparagus all year.

Sophes, may I apologise for the intemperate language used on this site, but that is the whole point because there is no moderation as my wee notice says.

I agree we certainly don't need aircraft carriers nor do we need Trident. I don't mind sending money to starving weans in Africa when the country is doing well, but like many families in this country, when you're not doing weel, you've got to pull your horns in. What a strange expression that is, I wonder where it came from?

Dinnae worry aboot it Mr Lochnagar, ah'm quite happy stickin ma fingers in ma lugs. Disnae mak it easy tae type tho...

Sophes, well done, you could well be right. It is a delight to have one such as yourself who is so knowledgeable. I like a snail or 6 when I'm in France.
