THE TRUE COST OF BROWN AND LABOUR'S FOLLY, £40,000 PER FAMILY

The extent of taxpayer support for Britain’s banks is revealed today to be £40,000 for every family in the country.  An official report concludes that bailouts, guarantees, insurance and loans offered by the Government and the Bank of England reached £850billion.  But the total aid package works out at £ 13,800 per person in Britain, or about £40,000 per family.

Despite this, the bailed- out banks are still refusing to lend.  Their support for businesses is set to fall short of the Government’s targets, with RBS and Lloyds unlikely to meet their commitments for £27billion in lending this year.

I THOUGHT WE OWNED THESE BANKS?  So why are we letting them pay themselves huge bonuses when they are not running OUR BANK for the GOOD OF THE COUNTRY and BUSINESS?

It is even worse than that when you factor in all the scroungers, workshy and fake-disabled only about half of us actually work so the true figure will be more like £80,000 per working household.

And the bad people who did this are still demanding bonuses or they will 'resign en masse'; well go on then, fuck off and wreck something else.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

I wasn't surprised to hear that RBS had the biggest liabilities when Dubai World went bust( another £2Bn lost ).
RBS give money to Dubai, they go bust so the taxpayers take the hit. RBS carry on as normal.
Why didn't RBS invest in the UK ?
At least we would have some shiny infrastructure to show for all the debt. I'm sure Ayr would have liked an underwater restaurant and a 7 star hotel. And of course some cooling under the sand so that you wouldn't burn your feet when running into the sea.

Ha ha underground heating for Ayr beach. Global warming comes to Scotland.
DL, did you see that Al Gore has pulled out of the climate conference in Copenhagen ? Mmmm I wonder why.
He had sold 3,000 tickets at $1250 each where people could shake his hand and see him do a wee speech.
This climate scam rip off will dwarf the bank bailouts unless it's stopped.

Banned, I don't tend to use the "cunt" word on the actual posting but however please feel free to use it when commenting particularly when talking about Murphy. What you say is very true, but the scroungers and work shy also have to take their share of the debt and "buroo" money will undoubtedly be cut, particularly if call me Dav's boys get in. You can't unforunately get your money back as it is required to keep some Sheik in the comfort to which he has become acustomed.

Mr Garrow, and a fine stretch of beach it is too. Some heating would be better as I don't ever recall burning my feet in the sand at Ayr. I stood on someone fag dout once and that burned my foot but I don't think that counts. An underwater retaurant? I don't think so. Who would like to see a big turd floating past when they are tucking into their steak tartare and chips.

Beach bummers, No I didn't see that. Al Gore probably started this crusade for all the right reasons but I think he now sees it as a money making exercise. Climate change shite will hold back the recovery with all this shite that companies have to adhere to. It's a load of pish!

Shite and pish in the same sentence without mentioning Jim Murphy.

Amazing, truly amazing,

Banking crisis, recession, Dubai Debt - onwards to the next clusterfuck....... RBS pissed me off with their obsequious service two years ago - closed all my accounts and took my money to an English bank. Really get's up my beak. I want to put my money in a stable Scottish bank or building society. Guess I'm pissing in the wind........

Ansel, funny that. Your wife was just saying she wished you had a 12inch dong like me. But I don't use it as a rule!

F.V. I had the same problems with them. I had some fuckwit from Dundee on to me about my account. So I just closed the bastard. Try the Airdrie Savings Bank. An old fashioned bank who don't overgear and they only have two branches. As for pissing in the wind. Don't you'll wet your breeks.
