SARKOZY-"WE, (THE EU) ARE IN CHARGE OF THE CITY OF LONDON NOW"!

Alistair Darling has delivered a blunt warning to the EU’s new French finance chief against meddling with the City of London.  As Nicolas Sarkozy gloated over impending curbs on the City, the Chancellor said that such moves would drive financial services out of Europe.

The French President’s glee at the appointment of Michel Barnier as Commissioner for the Single Market took on an edge of menace yesterday when he said that unfettered City practices must end.  “Do you know what it means for me to see for the first time in 50 years a French European commissioner in charge of the internal market, including financial services, including the City [of London]?" he said yesterday.  "I want the world to see the victory of the European model, which has nothing to do with the excesses of financial capitalism, (and I don't think that most of us would disagree with that!)" he said.
His implicit threat was just what Downing Street had feared when Mr Barnier, formerly an agriculture minister, was given the portfolio last week.

NOW THE LABOUR GOVERNMENT IS BEGINNING TO REALISE WHAT THE TREATY OF ROME IS ALL ABOUT!

Those two traitors are selling Europe, whether you love it or hate it, out.

There will be Ziggurats all over their countries.

The Swiss quite clearly told the world where the Ziggurat line is drawn.

INCOMING!!!!! Going by what I heard today, we were stitched up by Europe giving us a position of Foriegn Minister which has no power, while they carved the important commissions up amongst themselves.

DL poor people with no real money cannot pay up.

If you have no real money you will defect.

These goons have forgotten that since they have never turned a sod in their lives. :-)

INCOMING!!!!!! you're right. These fuckers should be sent out to find out what it is to earn money in the real world, instead of getting cushy Directorships paying fortunes because of their Governmental experiences.

Michel Barnier will come on a factfinding tour of the City expecting to be wined and dined by the financial services, best. Instead some junior wideboys will take him to a lap-dancing club, get him high on cocain, take some photos with a tart and then give him a good kicking in an alleyway out the back.

Sorted.

The real question is why did Gordon allow this to take place.

Trading Café Ashtray as No2 to Herby Van Rumpy for someone who will "control" The City, and a Frenchman to boot (it was all telegraphed) has to rank amongst the stupidest (that is saying something)decisions by the Snot Gobbler.

Stupid; he could write a book on stupidity and still be on every page.

Unless we are missing the obvious

Gordon's upringing in Fife and his close connection the Fife mining communists is not something of the past.

The only way to advance the cause is to destroy the system and rebuild it in their ideal.

He certainly is doing his best to destroy the UK and the destruction of the City could be his last hurrah.

What were the politics of Jack Straw, Michael Martin, Alastair Darling, and John Reid before they took over the Labour Party?

If you can take the city by storing the walls you take it by infiltration?

Just a thought

Begger, i tak your pont. With me it's not spelling it's shite typing.
You may have a point about the commie thing. But here's another scenario. Brown knows that he's likely to get fucked at the next election. He also knows that the Tories are split on Europe although they have just about papered over the cracks. A stron financial commissioner who is determined to break the city's power would reallly infuriate the Tories and the old cracks would appear. The Tory party would then split and the Labour party would skate in at the next election. Sorted. The only option the Tories have is to take us out of Europe and the referendum would also split the Labour party who are just about as badly split as the Tories.

When all fails go with the easy solution.

He is out to destroy the capitalist UK culture.

Prepare the way for the comintern?

Remember what I said about Brown, Reid, Darling, Straw and others; where they learned their trade.

Brown, Reid, Darling, Straw

Look at what they have presided over and what they have done, individually and collectively.

Tell e that they have not destroyed the wealth creation apparatus of this country, its social cohesion, its work ethic, its century old laws, its freedoms, its individual rights and liberties and replaced them all with what?

The Big Controlling Deciding State of unelected leaders.

Welcome to 1984, the real one.

Orwell's book was supposed to be a warning, not a blueprint.

Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get us.

Bugger, I totally agree with you 200%. This shitebag Government has brought in a totalitarian state and th people of the UK have let them do it. They are only now starting, just starting to realise what has happened. We have to keep pounding away. Us bloggers at least in Scotland are becoming a persecuted bunch. Subrosa has given up now because someone has found out her personal details. Labour cunts!

Over on one of Jeff's recent posts there was an "anonymous" poster goading Traquir to give him his real name.

Maybe the self same?

As I said nasty bit of work.
