How about Labour to win the most seats at the next general election?The Economy looks as if it may be starting to improve and in a years time, it will definitely have shown signs of returning to normal. THE TORIES have not as yet put any manifest commitments together and as yet CAMERON is untried.
In the recent Bi-elections in England, yes there has been a swing between LABOUR and the CONSERVATIVES, but this would seem to be down to the fact that the LABOUR VOTE hasn't come out rather than people voting COSERVATIVE.
So for Labour to have the MOST SEATS at the next GE, you can get between 6/1 with WILLIAM HILLS or 7.2/1 with BETFAIR.
Worth £20 to win around £140? I think so.
Oh, by the way, the LIB/DEMS ARE 100/1 FOR THE SAME BET!

DL, the thought crossed my mind the other week. Labour could win the GE, horrifying as it may sound.
Well the odds have to drop. If you bet them on Betfair you can "lay" them off when the odds shorted and take your money immaterial of the result.
I'm more interested in how many of our fellow cental Scotland f***wits will vote for them this time .
More to the point , what exactly do the Labour Party have to do to lose Motherwell and Wishaw ?
Molest puppies on their Party Political Broadcast ?
Make Scottishness illegal and promise to deport us all 2 weeks after the election ?

Y.O. I've got a mate stays in Motherwell who I've worked with over the years and he is a Labour man, friendly with Frank Roy M.P. (who is a nice enough guy but not the brightest knive in the drawer!) and there is no way Motherwell will ever vote anything but Labour. The whole of Lanarkshire is steeped with the Bastards, believe me.

Despite this handicap , I still find it incredible that McConnell and Roy keep getting elected .
