TESCO TAX IN SCOTLAND. HALLELUJAH!

Bid to scrap 'Tesco tax' defeated at Holyrood

A last-minute bid to scupper Scottish government plans for a tax on supermarkets and large shops has been defeated. The so-called Tesco tax will see retailers which sell alcohol and tobacco pay an extra £95m over the next three years.

Gracias a dios!  Hopefully these greedy fuckers will no longer be able to squeeze the small shops like a great English octopus!

  1. do you think any of these millions might be used to re-open & subsidise some of the local community [& family] pubs that have been forced to close because of their discounts? mind you can't have a watering hole where people get together to discuss how badly we're getting shafted :)

  2. Yes dognamedblue people might then get to know how they are being shafted by the likes of Derek MackAY in the photo attached to this post - a man who has a cheek to say other people are not fit to be in their positions when he has fiddled thousands from the public purse, been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for other fraud, I reported to the police for perjury, has covered up serious fraud by other SNP councillors when he was leader of Renfewshire Council which is going to come back and bite him goodstile and who has covered up for another SNP now MSP, George Adam, who ripped off the banks for hundreds of thousands of pounds and who was blackmailing and bullying another person into carrying out this crime with him - not to mention Mr Adams ripping off of St Mirren FC, Renfrewshire Council and many others. Oh and don't get me to start on these two MSP's links with one of the biggest drugs dealers in Scotland that they had John Swinney sitting with at a fundraiser when he was the leader of the SNP.

  4. He was also sacked by Bruce McFee ex-MSP when he worked for him because he did not tell Mr McFee that another SNP councillor and his wife (Nicolsons)were charged with fraud - one of whom also worked for the MSP.

They were fiddling their working tax credits but their lawyer got them off by claiming their council expenses were not income which was rubbish because they claimed it even whe they did not do anything for it. The wife was also claiming for expenses for going to her work everyday making out she was all over her ward when she was nowhere near the place - aparently she is standing again I hear after being away for a while.

Do not get started on Councillor Cameron who Derek MacKay got the council to cover up for and to lie to the police. Needless to say I will be reporting the Chief Constable of Strathclyde police for not investigating this case and then trying to pervert the course of justice by sending a couple of detectives round to try and bully me into dropping it - lucky I made sure I had a witness.

George Adam was never allowed to be a candidate even for the council elections because everyone knew how crooked he was that he would not get through vetting. He only got put forwardbecause they have hardly any members to pick from in Renfrewshire now becaue of these crooks. It goes all the way up to the top of the party those in the know about this guy.

  5. Can we get a Scottish political party that isn't a seething pit of wriggling , venomous corruption ?

    DL for First Minister !

PS . Tesco is much better than the pish wee shops we used to have to go to . I prefer Asda's , though .

  6. PPS . dognamedblue makes a very good point about the war against pubs .

The previous government in London was well into this aspect of social control , in my opinion .

Big Government loves Big Companies . It can manipulate them much more easily to achieve its goals .

  7. Billy, very interesting. First time I'd heard about it. I find it very sad that it was SNP members who were involved.
