ED BALLS TO SCRAP 'FAMILY' TICKETS FOR MUSEUMS BECAUSE IT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST SINGLE MOTHERS.

Moves to scrap museum and art gallery family tickets because they discriminate against single mothers were backed by Schools Secretary Ed Balls yesterday.

He claimed they do not reflect the 'complex reality of 21st-century families' as he ordered a taxpayer-funded consultation into abolishing the tickets.

Museum family deals are usually based on the traditional family unit of two adults and two children and can offer significant savings.

WHAT A LITTLE GOBSHITE BALLS IS.  BALLS by name and BALLS UP in practise.

Everything this Government does is done with minorities in mind, single parent families, Muslims, big fat Scotch bastards, (only kidding).  When is the majority GOD FEARING, TAX PAYING, AFGHANISTAN DYING BRIT going to be catered for?

  1. I see that via a wee widget your blog is available in many different languages included two versions of Chinese.

    I am celestially happy.

    Aye,

    Bugger!

  3. Then some smartarse decided to have “family tickets” – two adults (not necessarily married) and two children, which is fine except for the fact that I have three. The net result is that it costs at least £30 to get into most interesting places.

I can understand why private businesses charge like this but museums are supposed to be “educational” and therefore children should be encouraged not positively discouraged.

I’m sure some parents can’t afford to take the children on expensive day trips and the museum used to be a cheap day out; sandwich’s and a cheap day return on the train or bus – it was a great adventure for some.

This is the usual muck up and it is just another example of this Government having no real understanding of, or time for, the British public, preferring to patronise rather than listen. Balls wants to shape society instead of serving its genuine needs.

His entire career has been based on the elitist belief that he knows best.

Luckily he is going to be out on his ear shortly – quite rightly but not soon enough.

  4. In fact the Chinese in China don't know that you are doing it as all blogs are banned.

Their monitors and censors do sweep the World Wide Web looking for dissonance and dissidents.

    Your card is already marked.

  5. Sorry I missed the first para when I pasted in my comment - silly me!

Balls is a fool, the real question is should children have to pay entrance fees at all; in the old days they had a really good system; it was that all children could enter free or for a discounted price irrespective of numbers.

  8. Stouters, not that I admit I have been into a museum for a while but I'm sure it used to be free and I think the Scottish ones still are, but I could be wrong. The last museaum I went to was the 'Beamish' in Northumberland which were charging £16 per skull to get in. My response to that was , 'stuff that for a game of soldiers' and we went elsewhere.

As I've said before on this blog, don't bet on Labour being voited out. The Economy is strating to turn and you just never know. Balls could be the next P.M.!

  9. Bugger, dissidents! That just about sums me up.

Someties I am grateful for being an exile.

The People's Republic of China does have its lighter moments; everybody knows the local press and tele just regurgitate propaganda, unlike in Britain where a high proportion of the Proles still believe what they are told.

  11. On the Chinesie thing I see that the people of Jining, in Shandong Province, the birthplace of Confucius and a city of 9 million peeps, have decided to call their new sports centre after the janitor at Herriot Watt University (Jim Smith, in case you wondered).

At the same time Edinburgh University has the Confucius Institute.

Next thing will be the Peoples Liberation Army mounting the Guard at Edinburgh Castle and haggis stuffed with a thousand year old bird’s nest on the menu in the Shanghai Shuffle (in Bath Street).

Something’s going on that we have not been told about.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Jim Smith eh?

They don't let us read much in the Zoo here and if I had read it I would have discounted it as propaganda anyway.

  13. Off now down The Bund for a Sweet and Sour and a TsingTao or two, the subway has quietened down.

  14. Bugger, the difference is that in China they don't believe the propoganda whereas here they think that if the Government says it, it must be right. That's democracy for you.

  15. Stouters, Jimk Smith, he velly important man at Hairy Twat. I used to work in Bath Street but a haggis stuffed bird's nest. Now you're just being stupid. You know us Scots we always go where the money is!

  19. So how do you explain the 3000 year-old mummies that were discovered in the desert of Taklamakan, China, wearing tartan kilts?

Not only that, but the Chinese can’t play football either.

    The conclusion is obvious.

  20. Stouters, you know how to hurt a man. I'll remember that remark when Germany knock you out in panalties in the semi-final!

  21. Museums should return to being free for all children and have lots of interactive gizmos too. The only fun thing at the Science Museum in my day was the Van Der Graaf Generator but at least it was free!

This wretched Government just last week accepted that its £500,000 scheme (SCAM) to force Museums to have a more Diverse clientele had been an utter waste of time and Taxpayers money since if Blacks, lesbos, retards and cripples didn't fancy visiting Museums there was fuck all the Government could do about it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Banned, the Van Der Graf generator? Yes, that explains a lot. You weren't holding onto it when it was cranked up by any chance? (cheeky bastard!)
There's no point in cripples visiting museums because they can't get round. As for the Blacks, lesbos and retards, well I can't speak for them.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Stouters, no if you read what I said more closely instead of jumping in with your big squaddie's boots, you will see that I can't speak for Blacks, lesbos or retards, (and BTW that is a word I am not happy about using and is IMO worse than a four letter one), with the inference that I can speak for 'cripples' as I do have some mobility problems. Museums in Scotland are generally free as we get subsidised by the English taxpayer.

    ReplyDelete
  24. In fact, I think most of the "free" things we have in Scotland, prescriptions, university education, rent allowances, unemployment benefit, museum entry are due to the munificence of the English.

Thanks you very Mr Beedle and please Sir, can we have some more?

  25. Min Gotte Mr Stoutman,

What an attention seeker you are and you had to have three tries before you had your Andy Warhole moment.

I think you are sexually repressed and could do with a visit to my correctional facilities in Kobnhavn.

  26. Bugger, yes thanks very much Mr Barnett. We give you our oil and whisky revenues and you give us back some pocket m oney. thanks!

  27. Mrs Pastry, welcome. You may be right about Stoutman. But he spends all day looking up things on the web to construct his comments, which is nice! But I admit he can be a tad pedantic at times. In fact he can be a pain in the arse but he occasionally makes some interesting points.

Tell me more about your clinic?

HVAD A Little GOBSHITE baller. BALLS ved navn og bolde op i praksis.
